It was a bad day for us when they implemented the 2 tier wage system, Ford knew that one day they would outnumber us.

We have workers in our plant come to watch their trucks go through the paint booth.

The C on some of the stubs I saw must have meant Crack.

I am not part of a team so I have no team leader. I am in close proximity to a team and have watched their team leader, I would not want the job. They have to put up with way too much, I've seen this person cover for individuals who are constantly late, help cover breaks, give potty breaks to people who just got off of a break,listen to the same people complain day after day about nothing. not to mention management's complaints. I have been at Ford for some time and I can tell you they are not giving this money to the team leaders without expecting some extra work. The woman I'm talking about already does extra for her pay. I don't know about the other team leaders but if they do their duties as well as this woman then they deserve whatever they get.

When i started at KTP several years ago the plant manager at the time hired a lot of salary with the understanding that they would have to work on one of the lines for a predetermined period of time. I guess he was ahead of his time. I think it helped some of them to see how difficult some of our jobs are.

I agree with and enjoyed reading Another Auto Workers biting remarks. Nobody knows what is going to happen 10 minutes from now let alone 10 years into the future. I've had some unexpected events in the last 2 years that have reshaped my retirement future. One was my grandson coming to live with me. I was finished with having babies, now I'll have to work to provide for him the next 18 years. So I guess people who don't know me will ask the same question, Why doesn't that old bastard retire? I'll continue to work as long as God allows me to. Hang in there guys, Grasshopper

I fell 8 feet on my head have recurring neck head and back problems and have been screwed with by the company since it happened. I see now why I have had so much trouble, it's because of pieces of crap like you. my family would like to thank you for your efforts.

Hey can't you guys be happy for someone who decided to do something different with their lives. Good luck with your new job. Hopefully ford will make it so the rest of us can continue to work. Without us there are a lot of people who will lose their jobs also.

I apologize for the remarks I leveled at Ed or whoever it was but I have seen his posts before and he comes across as am arrogant --ick. Maybe this is not his intentions but neverless he comes off that way. He could step back and review his posts beforing sending them and think, would I want someone coming down on me like this. You've been sitting in gen pool and somehow did not have the time to further your education. I've been bounced around to different shifts and would have loved to have the opportunity to have finished my degree. Sounds like you are one of those who point the finger of blame everywhere but at yourself.

Not to belittle someone but we are the union. Your union rep will not fight for something if you don't want to stand up. You won't get everything but if you are contractually right then you should fight for it. I get tired of having guys come up to me and say....you know what they are doing now,can you say something i don't want to be seen as a trouble maker. It's okay if management screws with you over this as long as I benefit. Grow a pair and stand up.
