  1. Something is up with that last link, try this one: 1ZVBP8KS0B5140375 You car lists as Produced as of Monday, 26th. ETA the week of August 7th.
  2. Scheduled to the plant for the week of August 16th. That does not mean it will necessarily be built that week, but should be sometime soon around that time.
  3. Dude, take a freakin' pill. 9 posts and you act like you own the company. Just like everyone else said these things take time. Sometimes at final assembly they identify what they call a quality issue that could really be nothing more than sub-par fits or finishes and if it is too far in the build they will finish the build and have it sit on the ramp until it can be reinspected and/or corrected if necessary. Sometimes vehicles actually leave the plant when they are discovered. They halt shipment and correct any issue before it gets to your dealer. I'd be thankful that they care enough to make sure it is completely right before it gets to you. Incidentally the dealer quoting you 5 weeks from the order is very wishful thinking. Anyway, as of this morning it lists as Shipped Convoy - Convoy # 77919 (Allied Systems Ltd ) from Ramp 4F, Dixiana, SC. Which basically means it is no longer on rail and is on a truck. ETA: August 4th.

  5. Hyundai is now in the lead. C'mon folks vote for the Fusion. If you've already voted, re-check the link it may let you vote again. If you've voted at home, re-vote at work and vice-versa. Thanks!
  6. That makes me want to go and check out my Sport Blue one too.
  7. I hear ya. Cool, well I'm glad you bought a Ford then and like it. Yeah, the Sport is the only one with an ole fashioned hydraulic power steering pump, something that get inherited from the Duratec 35. I actually am liking the electronic steering, but yes it definately has a different "feel" to it.
  8. As far as the locking glovebox goes, when is the last time Ford had a locking glovebox? Probably shouldn't have been a surprise. I understand you wanting that, but with the way the Fusion is presented giving you one convenient key/fob for everything - what key would you use to open the glovebox? The standard key; which your valet will have anyway and would be able to access that as well as the trunk. Oh well, I guess there isn't much you can do about that then. As far as steering goes, all 2010 Fusions have electric steering except for the Sport. Oh yeah and I am loving my new Fusion SE, I just drove it home last Wednesday.
