Did you write this?
“There needs to be a automotive company made just for men. Real men, a simple man. No touch screen this and that, I want solid axles, V8s, give me knobs on my dash board and cables on my vents, no seat belt and tire pressure dingy with illumination. A windshield that doesnt stretch to the front of the hood. Dont need remote start because we are MEN, and we start our wifes car while we are out there so we can get laid that night. Give me lights that I can buy from a Oriellys shelf, a manual transmission because these computer driven automatics never know what gear they want, give me a cable throttle because no one likes hesitation when they are in a mud hole. We MEN dont need traction control, we have been controling traction since we were driving Power Wheels, and if a 3 yr old can get traction on wet grass with plastic tires then we MEN can too. And finally the only reason I want a vanity mirror is to make sure I dont have boogers in my nose.”
This guy sounds like a pussy. This is what REAL men use.

Its not really earth shattering why chebby is not not offering the 4:30....all gassers need the mechanical advantage to pull much of anything and chebby appears to have just went where most of the market resides in the 3/4t trucks...not sure of sales breakdown bettween 3/4t and 1t but 3/4t sales have to be far larger...ram is rumored to be ready to offer a larger hemi as well...bottom line is you need the diesel for loads..i would imagine though 70% of diesel owners out there could have gotten by with the gasser thus saving thousands and the headache of the epa choked diesels
You're behind on your rumors. The 7.0l Hemi was shelved.

Well I'm not a complete idiot, I do know that the heater increased will effectively increase the heat but I can't understand the speed of which it reacts. As far as I know, heat is achieved via heater coils within a structure and fan, or liquid from the heat source and the amount of that heat is determined thru deflection of heated liquid thru a bypass source and fan. I'm sure there's lots of variations of how it's done and had to replace the liquid type on my Subaru years ago (bypass valve was stuck). I would think that regardless of what heater source, it would still take time to transfer the energy into what's being heated before it goes out the dashboard. The speed of which I feel a change is so fast that it just makes me wonder how that can be unless there's actual exposed heater coils (within a tunnel) that are just glowing harder and the fan is directly behind it. I can't see how any fluid source could supply a transfer function at speed. Anyway, no big deal but I'm impressed with it. When even my wife takes note without my pointing it out to her, it's different than any other car we've had. ?
Are you talking about a cold engine/ vehicle or one that's up to temp? If it's at operating temp your heater core should be around 195 degrees. The actuator opens and allows hotter air to flow through the core and out the vents. If it has a good fan you should feel it.
On diesel Super Duties you can option an electrical auxiliary heater since diesel warm up slower than gas. I could be wrong but I don't think you can get that on you're Nautilus.

You can really see the difference the 10 speed transmission and 4;30 rear make compared to the Chevy's 6 speed and 3:73 rear.
Most are reporting only a 1 mpg hit compared to the 3.55's so if you're going to work it get the 4:30's.

Honestly, it will sell no matter if it's crap or not at this point. When Lincoln stopped trying with the Navigator for about 20 years, GM was building brand equity in the Escalade. It will take years of hard work for Lincoln to over come that. Not that they can't but it won't be overnight. This is what we call squandering what you had.
Who cares about Escalade? 2019 was down 2300 units compared to 2018. 60% of Yukon sales are Denalis. GMC sells more Yukon Denalis than Cadillac sells Escalades.

I am not sure what market ford is chasing with the bronc...it seems far more oriented to slab (ifs) and not a serious attempt to compete with the wrongler...i do think you were correct with ford wanting a piece of the aftermarket goodies but i think that will be limited due to final product design we are given...its all a mute point at this time as the bronc is not even available but mustang owners being most interested is a strong clue where the bronc appears to headed...
Heep. Wrongler. You're a regular Mark Twain.

Where is part 2 of the tear-down?
This is labeled as part 3 but I can't find part 2. Maybe just mislabeled.

I heard the latest generation Ecoboost added port injection to prevent buildup on the intake valves. Has this been effective. Are people still installing "catch cans" on the new Ecoboost?
It was added for emissions, the side benefit is it helps clean the valves. Toyota has the same setup on the 3.5 in the Tacoma.
As far as catch cans, that's a personal choice. If I was going to keep the vehicle and work it hard I would install one.
Mine's a lease so I'm not worried about it.

Ok guys, didn't need to nuke the thread, but I did some moderating of it-talk about the product, not the guy in front of it. I don't want this to turn ugly.
You don't expect people here to stay on subject, do you?

Would have been nice if these guys took Mr Beltramo's presentation and addressed his comments point by point as to why this will be such a good commercial vehicle motor.
Yeah, but these guys aren't into commercial.

Quite frankly, I don't care if you don't like my opinions, but at least i try not to post random jabs at other members.
It's kind of off-putting the way some of you gang up on snooter and others, just because you don't like what ww have to say. Yall are way too old to be acting like high schoolers.
It's because you think your opinions are worth gold, and they're not. You're annoying on purpose probably 40% of the time.
It's like I have said before, you are really brave when you're hiding behind a screen. If you had to do it in person you'd get a beer in your face or a fist in your nose. You troll too much.
Snooter problem is he posts jibberish and nonsense ON PURPOSE. He's proven on more than one occasion that he can post-rational stuff when he wants to. I can assure you no one thinks his posting "Heep" 150 times is witty.
You don't want to get crap for stupid stuff, stop doing/ saying stupid stuff! It's not that hard! There's no law that says people can't tell you where to go when they are tired of your nonsense.
It's the old joke "Doc, it hurts when I do this!" "Then stop doing that!"
