I have a 2007 Edge SEL Plus, fully loaded, including the the panoramic sun roof. The car has performed without any glitches over the course of my three year lease, so I decided to buy it outright. I want to make sure I am doing everything resonable with preventative maintenance to hopefully ensure another few years of trouble free use. On some occasions, when I've had the panoramic roof open for longer periods while driving on the freeway, I've noticed it closes more slowly, almost seeming to struggle a bit. My fear is that at some point it will get stuck open. I live in a farming community in western Idaho and there is a lot of dust. Other than spraying down the top of the roof when it is closed, and wiping out the tracks when the roof is open, is there anything else I can do to ensure smooth operation and prevent sticking. Some type of lubrication perhaps? A worry is that I don't want to use anything that might damage the seals and cause leaking. Any advice on this? Thanks! - Rich
