I agree - Ford - please provide a diesel option for a small truck or SUV in the U.S. The U.S. is a country of highways and diesel engines kick ass against gasoline powered engines in gas mileage and not as flakey as the hybrid technology. The U.S. is full of hard working and hard playing folks that want the torgue that diesel produces to pull horse trailers, boats, jet skis without having to buy a huge ass truck that you can't park in the neighborhood. Come on Ford - don't let an Indian company be the only one to produce what many of us want - (even if they did put together tens of thousands of Jeep Willy's). It would be great if Ford offered a Ranger with a diesel engine, mechanical locks and manual roll up windows. Let's stop striking out and play ball!
