  1. I agree that finding your own answer is preferable. However, I can assure you that some people don't e even know the question to ask. I am just going to let this go. You have missed my entire point. Your reponses to postings on the forum are rude and add nothing.
  2. You gave the same answer (about the manual) when I asked a question about my wife's new Marnier Hybrid. I have a question for you. Why are you on this forum? Someone has a basic question that was easily answered by someone else. They now know who to work their radio, and everyone is happy. We all learn from this since the question itself may not have occurred to someone else. That is why there is a forum in the first place. So, the answer to every question is not to check the manual. This is a discussion among people who have a common interest or concern. There is no place here for someone who sarcastically chimes in on every post that the person should check the manual. I am trying to say this respectfully. Okay, go ahead and say someone crude back to me. You seem irritated with almost any question anyone has asked. Maybe, you could check a psychology text (" manual " ) and find out why you have more a thousand posts on here telling people how stupid they are for not checking their owner's manual. Maybe you should check yours.
  3. So I have read the manual cover to cover and feel satisfied that a long term mileage reading is not independently given.
  4. Thanks. I usually do the math but have liked a reading as well. I find that the mileage on the Fusion is over-estimated by .5 MPG
  5. I have the vehicle. The displays are different than the Fusion Hybrid. On the Fusion it simply tells you the lifetime mileage when you turn off the car. I like that because I can reset the mileage with each flllup without desturbimg the lifetime average.
  6. I picked up my wife's new 2010 Mariner Hybrid. I have a 2010 Fusion Hybrid. On the Fusion, when you turn off the car, it provides a lifetime mileage reading. Even if you reset the milage on every fill up, the car has a separate reading of long term mileage. Does the Mariner Hybrid have this feature? Thanks. Richard
  7. I certainly cannot argue about self-insurance. I have had ESP and not had ESP. However, make sure you decide based on real prices for ESP. If you google ESP you will get actual Ford dealers selling ESP. I was able to get ESP 100/7 years premium care (real ESP) for under $1300. $50 deductible no less. Check it out.
  8. Thanks for responding. I order the Husky Liner yesterday.
  9. I tried to find a Husky Liner for the 2010 and could not find it.
  10. I have a Mariner Hybrid on order. I know that keeping the battery cool is important. So, can a rubber mat be placed in the cargo area (above the battery)? I have always liked having all weather protection in the cargo area but I do not want to hurt the battery. Thanks.
  11. I agree. I just hope it is there since I ordered the vehicle. As for it being in a awkward spot, I usually leave it cranked up all the way, so it is a one time deal. I do appreciate your input. I will let everyone know when it arrives.
  12. Well since I ordered it, I hope it is there. Here is the intro video on the website. I do see the knob on the right side of the driver's seat in the video. I will be disappointed if it is not there. http://www.mercuryvehicles.com/mariner/interior.asp
  13. I just downloaded and read the 2010 Mariner Hybrid manual. It shows the lumbar knob and explains it. It is the same as on my Fusion Hybrid. It is on page 118 of the owners guide that I have attached here. MMHManual.pdf
  14. pictures seem to show it. I hope its there. Do you have a link to the 2010 hybrid manual?
