Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever dealt with ordering a car and then not been able to purchase it because you were laid off between ordering it and receiving it. Are you able to say that you don't want the car anymore? I know that the dealer can sell it to someone else if they really want to so why wouldn't I be able to say that I don't want it anymore?

Will the build date show up later when there is a build date decided or is it one of those situations where once the window sticker is created, it isn't changed?

Thanks, that sounds about right. I called ford and they said my estimated arrival date got pushed back a week to the second week in November.

I have my window sticker now but it doesn't have an anticipated build date on it. What does that mean? Could anyone give me an update on the status of my car? I see that people are saying there is a shortage of transmissions which is shutting down some plants. Is this true for the Mexico plant?

I called Ford yesterday but she didn't know much. She said the "schedule to date" was Oct. 26th but I haven't been able to find any information about what that means. I had figured out how to work the window sticker thing but what does seeing the window sticker help?
