  1. 2015 Super Duty HP & Torque ratings. Found this today online in a article. For some reason it wont let me post the link 440 HP 860 Ft. Lbs. Torque Gooseneck Max towing 31,200 lbs. 5th wheel Max towing 26, 500 lbs. GCWR 40,000 on F-450
  2. Thanks for the information ice-capades. Gives me a better idea of when I can actually order.
  3. Well I went to order a 2015 F-450 Platinum Edition and the Sales Manager at my local dealer tells me that the system will not accept the order code 678A which is the Platinum Package code. Does anyone have any ideas on when this will be available? I am assuming that it due to late availability but any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the info, have had nothing but a great experience with my 2011 F-350, but my 45' Toyhauler is a bit much for it with the 3:55 gearing. Time to move up to the 2015 F-450, looking forward to placing my order in January.
  5. Just be careful of that dye, which may come off on your clothes under the right condidtions. Example:Raining ouside clothes are wet and the significant other hops in with wet white pants etc. My '11 SD F350 truck has the Black with the "distressed" insert as it is called and it grows on you. I didn't know what to expect when I ordered mine in December other than it indicated a 2 tone distressed center inserts but after having the truck for 3 weeks I don't give it a second thought.
  6. I have run about 500 mi now on both 2 lane highway and interstate some with a 20" trailer w about 6000 lbs on it. I have not really stood on it but did give it a few "highly spirited" passing runs around semi tractor trailers etc. and it has tourque out the wazoo and I could not didn't even tell I had a 20' loaded trailer on behind me. I have driven an older F350 with the 7.3L Poswerstroke and a 2008 Chevy 3500 with its 6.6, comparatively I estimate the 2011 SD has about 15-20% better throttle response than either. The chevy had a Banks modified computer profile so it wasn't apples to apples. Going from 50 mph to 90 mph passing empty seems like a blip of the throttle never hitting 3000 rpm though firt two time i just shook my head and smiled. A co-worker drag races a few modified cars and has a Chevy 3500 with a modified diesel to pull his 45 ft car hauler when we can get together we going to give them a run at the track. His truck put out about 500HP "he thinks" so I would like to see what this thing can do against it side by side just for comparison. I know he pulls 20K all over the country with that truck & car hauler.
  7. Thanks for the compliments. I've put about 200 mi on it today mixed rural driving (highway / small towns) 55-60 mph averaging 21.8 MPG with a good bit of idling while chatting with friends. The diesel IS as quiet as advertised and thus far has exceeded my expectations for both ride quality and road noise. I'm running the 3.55 ratio axle and with a bed cover and break in feel 23 mpg highway is quite possible unloaded, and 16 mpg city - on and off throttle makes a big difference.
  8. My dealer got 4 in last night including mine that I ordered on 12/21/09. Here is my beauty can't wait to pick it up in the morning.
  9. I do not know where it is at but it has been invoiced to build. Here is your window sticker: http://services.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1FT7X2B60BEA00450 I ordered mine on 12/21/09 and it just arrived last night, going to pick it up in the morning here she is:
  10. Just use the link in my above post and replace my F350 VIN # with your VIN #. Note I ordered on 12/21/09 and only on 3/26/10 could I view it once the truck was invoiced. My freindly FORD dealer gave me a printout a few weeks back with an expected build date week of 3/15 and an expected ship date week of 3/22. So I am hoping the truck is on its way to the dealer next week for sure. If your vehicle has not been invoiced you not see a window sticker but will get a message provided you correctly entered your VIN "We are temporarily unable to retrieve the window sticker"
  11. I hope to see mine any da, it has a ship date this week 3/22-3/26 and as of tonight could pull up window sticker online. 2011 Ford F350 SD WindowSticker.pdf http://services.ford...T8W3BT7BEA15028
  12. Ran across a generic link that took me to the 2011 Super Duty Build and Price but had to manually modify links to see each model. Hope this is helpful. http://bp2.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/2011-Ford-F-250#page=/Models/ F250 http://bp2.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/2011-Ford-F-350#page=/Models/ F350 http://bp2.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/2011-Ford-F-450#page=/Models/ F450
  13. LOL thanks for the heads up but $21 floor mats in a $62K truck I think I can replace them when worn. I just would ruin the carpet ones anyway wearing boots all the time.
  14. In a previous post I saw someone asking about comparison of 2010 SD vs. 2011 SD prices. On 12/21/09 I placed my order and I was gives a confirmation printout showing the Retail / Invioce pricing for each item as well as the A/Z Plans and X plans prices. I am buying via X-Plan.<BR> Here is my 2011 SD order and immediately below is an almost exact 2010 SD minus the 5th wheel factory prep. Also for 2011 other goodies are included in the Lariate Ultimate package that you had to order seperate for 2010 i.e. reverse camera / remote start / etc. Without further ado here goes. **NOTE the first price is RETAIL with the DEALER INVOICE price immediately to the right of it. 2011 FORD Super Duty Order #: B111 Placed: 12/21/09 Model Overview 2011 Ford Super Duty / F350SRW / 4X4 / Lariat / Crew Cab / 8’ Bed / 172”WB OPTIONS / DESCRIPTION / CODE / RETAIL / DEALER INVOICE Exterior Color Tuxedo Black Metallic UH Interior Color Black 2-Tone Leather 40/Console/40 4B BASE MODEL PRICING Body Style / WB CREW CAB 4X4 8’ Box / 172” W3B $44,940 $41,416 Engine 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel 99T $7835 $6503 Transmission 6 Speed Torque-Shift Automatic 44W N/C (included w/ Engine) Axle Ratio 3.55 to 1 Electronic Locking Differential X3J $390 $324 Wheels 20” Premium Cast Aluminum 642 N/C (included w/ Tires) Tires LT275/65/Rx20E OWL TCW $1375 $1141 Packages Lariat Ultimate Package 96U $3995 $3316 Chrome Package / 6” Chrome Tubular Step Bar 17C $995 $826 FX4 Off-Road Package 17X $295 $245 5th Wheel / Gooseneck Hitch Prep Package 53W $370 $307 Functional Engine Block Heater 41H $75 $62 Dual Alternators 67A $380 $315 Tough Bed Spray-in bed liner 85S $450 $374 Rapid-Heat Supplemental Cab Heater 41A $250 $208 Up-fitter Switches (4) 66S $125 $104 All Weather Floor Mats 16S $25 $21 DESTINATION CHARGE $975 $975 TOTALS $62,475 $57,086 A/Z PLAN PRICING $54,675 X PLAN PRICING 57,132 2010 vs. 2011 Model price comparison 2010 Ford Super Duty / F350SRW / 4X4 / Lariat / Crew Cab / 8’ Bed / 172”WB OPTIONS DESCRIPTION CODE RETAIL DEALER INVOICE Exterior Color Black Clearcoat Interior Color Black Leather 40/Console/40 BASE MODEL PRICING Body Style / WB CREW CAB 4X4 8’ Box / 172” $42,785 $39,297 Engine 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel 99R $7835 $6503 Axle Ratio 3.55 to 1 Electronic Locking Differential X3J $350 $291 Wheels 20” Polished Forged Aluminum wheels N/C N/C Tires LT275/65R20E BSW TAW $1245 $1033 Packages Lariat Ultimate Package 96U $3995 $3316 Chrome Package / 6” Chrome Tubular Step Bar 17C $1085 $901 FX4 Off-Road Package 17X $225 $187 Functional Engine Block Heater 41H $75 $62 Electronic Shift on the Fly 213 $185 $154 Reverse Camera System 76V $470 $390 Dual Alternators 67A $380 $315 Tough Bed Spray-in bed liner 85S $450 $374 Rapid-Heat Supplemental Cab Heater 41A $250 $208 Up-fitter Switches (4) 66S $125 $104 All Weather Floor Mats 16S $25 $21 DESTINATION CHARGE $975 $975 SUBTOTALS $60,455 $54,131 I hope this helps in making any decisions.
