I have a 2013 Titaniam Escape. Can someone verify the operation for me? When I park, I get out and lock the car. When I try to start the car by hitting the button twice on the remote, nothing happens. When I hit the lock button then hit the start button twice it starts up. Keep in mind that the car is already locked. The owners manual says the car needs to be locked, not that you have to hit the lock button prior to the start buttons. If there all that way, I'm okay with it. I just want to be sure everything is working normal. Thanks Lenny

That explains it. I thought I followed those guide lines only to find the screen was not full. If anyone figures out how to fill the screen, I would appropriate it. Thanks Lenny

Thanks, I never even thought about the phone, I was concerned about the re-booting, blank screens, having to pull the fuse, Ext, Ext. I will have to try mi iphone 4 next time im there Lenny

Thank You very much for your post, I will check with them. Ill do it when I go in and talk to a sales person about a new one. Im starting to have second thoughts about a new one though......... I had some issues with the transmition on my 08 awd edge with 45 k miles. The dealer did a reprogram according to a TSB. They charged me $100.00 I've read the Warrenty and I can not find anything that says there's a deductible on the 5/60 power Trane warranty. (not an extended warranty) the factory 5/60 power Trane warranty. Am I missing something? I dont want to make a big deal out of this, but I also don't want to be takin advantage of. Thanks Lenny

I’m a bit concerned; My 08 AWD Edge just hit 30k miles. On another board there are a lot of problems with leaks in the AWD PTU unit (If that’s what it is actually called). Mine does not leak. Vie read the Powertrain warranty book and it list a ton of components, Engine, Tranny, transfer case, axles, and so on. But there is no mention of the PTU. Would this be a covered item? It would seem as this would be a part of the powertrain. Thanks for your input Lenny
