  1. When I first got my 2013 Titanium I wasn't really use to the low profile tires. When parking on the same curb I use to park on with my 08 Edge, I scratched about a 2-3 inch just where the wheel meets the rubber. It's not that bad, but it is kind of black. Just wondering if a little touch up paint would make it look better. I just don't know how to match the color. Any advice? Thanks
  2. I remember reading somewhere, (maybe this forum??) how to program the auto up down touch feature on the windows. Recently I disconnected the battery in the car and after I re-connected it the auto up down stopped working. I tried searching, but could not find anything. Anyone have any ideas??
  3. Broke again! Not going through all that again. I'll just cancel the service.
  4. Update: Got it working, I spent about 45 min. on the phone with Sirius, Xm with no fix. They tried a bunch of things including resending the signal a few times. In the end, they said I needed to bring the car to Ford. When I got home I tryed pulling the MFT fuse, that did not work. Then I disconnected the battery for the whole car for about an hour then reconnected it. That did not work either (I was suprised that both of these things did not delete any of my presets) Lastly I did a system restore using the MFT touch screen, That did the trick!! For now anyway, we'll see how long it stays working. (Doing that deleted my phone, pre-sets and everything else in MFT) It's a pain in the butt putting it all back.
  5. Is anyone else having issues? All I get are the little wheels spinning and a warning "acquiring weather data" I'm definetly subscribed, the satalite radio is working fine. I just had TSB 13-4-20 and not sure if it stoped working after that or not. The navigation is working great. I went to the Sirius web site and sent another signal to the car, that didn't help. I'd hate to have to go back to the dealer.
  6. No, I'm not hitting the button on the top of the handle. This does this even on the rear doors that do not have this. It also does it once in awhile in the car when trying to start it. "No My Ford key found" To correct both of these issues I just have to jiggle the keys in my pocket. I've tryed both fobs, and new batteries. It's an intermittent issues that can not be duplicated at will.
  7. Not just people, but Ford. 2013 Escape, Focus, C-Max - Rear View Camera Guidelines Disappear Some 2013 Escape, Focus, and C-Max vehicles equipped with MyFord Touch and a rear camera may exhibit guidelines which may disappear. This may be caused when the customer shifts into reverse very quickly after starting the vehicle. It can be avoided once the guidelines are set to On by shifting into reverse just a bit more slowly following ignition-on sequence. The customer should wait for the SYNC system to fully boot up and show the home screen before shifting or the concern may repeat. Guidelines can be turned back on by customer by entering the SYNC Menu (two gears) - Vehicle - Rear View Camera - Guidelines. Engineering is currently investigating this condition through the quicker service fix (QSF) process. Until a new service procedure and/or parts are available do not attempt repair. Monitor OASIS for updates.
  8. Mine was okay except for the fact it took 10 min or longer to figure out were I was. Once it did it worked fine. I just had the TSB (module and bracket) done the other day. So far it seems to be a lot better. I'll keep an eye on it and see. But like I said mine worked okay priar.
  9. One of my Explorers, (I forget what year) had a 2X4 / 4X4 Auto / 4X4 high / 4X4 low settings. I took it to a beach and deflated the tires to something like 5-10psi and tested all the above systems. 2X4, settings I went no where! 4X4 Auto setting, the truck would lunge foward then slow then lunge foward again, and so on and so on. 4X4 high and low settings handled the deep sand with no problems. I'd be afraid to bring the Escape in the deep sand. In my opinion, it's just made for weather related conditions.
  10. I totally agree!! I think it sounds great. My only complaint with it, is the maximum volume is to low!!
  11. Parts came in and work was done. * TSB 13-4-20, GPS Issue done * TBS 13-4-25, Squeaky breaks done Now we will see how it is. I tried to look at the brakes through the wheel but couldn't tell what was changed. Big rain day tomorrow, so should see how the GPS does
  12. Maybe?? http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20281&sid=0d6d60bafe24c9b9fa99b37afc506266
  13. I think the point was that they are on the 3rd printing and it hasn't been corrected yet.
  14. Every thing I read or see in the reviews states that it is a total redesign vehicle for 2013. I just saw that the kuga has been around since 2008. If the escape is just a rebadged Kuga, what makes it all new?? I'm just Wondering??
  15. I Just noticed my Eco Boost Badge also has all the colors fading. Has the replacements been any better?
  16. Not an option in the car, but available in the parts store?? I'm confused..... But that's another story all together!!
  17. On another site there is a list of TSB's and Ford OASIS messages put out by ford to there dealers for the 2013 Escape. And you are correct, the 3rd printing still has it listed. It's still wrong. http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=19977
  18. That's funny!! The comment that is, not the accident. Sorry to hear about that......
  19. Ford OASIS Messages: 2013 Escape - Owner's Manual Incorrect - Low Washer Fluid Level Message 2013 Escape does not have a low washer fluid level message feature, the Owner's Manual is in the process of being updated. Owner's Manual 1st and 2nd printings are incorrect.
  20. There might be some helpful info on this thread from another site, page 2. http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20144&start=10
  21. All it says is 130314A Reprogrammed PCM and retest No TSB, but if I had to guess, the reprogramming is a reflash and probably is a newer version than the one that came installed when the car was built in Aug 12. Just a guess......

  23. I didn't see anything about applying a tsb, I'll look when I go back to the car
