  1. (fyi) There is a listing on ebay for the correct 29" wipers for the 2012+ focus. Most of the time you have to settle for 28" when getting aftermarket - these are 29" as specified. Name brand Trico. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301182957031
  2. What are other people using for replacement windshield wiper blades? I've been using trico neoform beam blades for years and they're awesome but before I go out and buy more neoforms, was wondering if there was anything brand new out there in the last year that are notable and I should take a look at? I gotta buy new wipers for all 4 vehicles before winter!!
  3. What is everyone using? What do you like? What doesn't work? Please give your wiper blade review!!
  4. Follow-up to my initial post: There is a upgraded rear wiper for the Lincoln Navigator that actually is excellent all the way around - rear and front. If you want to upgrade to the newer-style, one-piece, frameless (whatever you want to call them) wiper blades, I recommend taking a look at the "Trico NeoForm Beam Blades". Product Info & Picture: https://www.wipers123.com/NeoForm.php They come in all the required sizes for the Navigators from 1998-2010+ If you haven't tried the new-style wipers, I highly recommend them - they can make an older vehicle a little more enjoyable to drive. Getting rid of the fragile frames makes all the difference in durability and performance. For the rear, they're not so curved and stiff that they lose contact with the glass - they are actually quite flexible. They also look great and the price has come down on them. Wipe clean and super quiet. Major improvement in the winter. You can get them online. Two Thumbs Up - Hope this helps others!!
  5. On my mission to find an upgraded rear wiper blade, I found a great wiper blade for all around... If you want to upgrade to the newer-style frameless wipers, I could only find one aftermarket choice that had the 14" size for the rear as well as the 22" ds & 19" ps. I found the "Trico NeoForm Beam Blades" online and they're fairly priced, wipe super well, are super quiet, and look really good. They perform well in rain, mist, snow and ice and put up with the abuse of a Wisconsin winter. The place I bought them from just notified me that there's a $15 rebate thru 5/15/2010. I highly recommend...
  6. Trying to save others some time & headaches... You don't have to go to the dealer for a replacement rear wiper blade on the Ford Flex. It looks like the blade and arm are one piece but if you look closer, you'll see the wiper blade can be replaced and its actually quite simple. It's a special rear wiper blade though. There may be other alternatives, but the "Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blade" snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. You can find it online. Much cheaper than the dealer alternative and easier/less tedious than messing around with rubber blade refills. Comes with removal and replacement instructions too. Hope this helps. :hyper:
  7. Next to Huyndia/Kia, Ford held it's own compared to others...interesting! http://blogs.motortrend.com/6593818/corporate/2009-sales-gm-retains-20-percent-share-but-toyotas-no-1-in-retail-sales/index.html
  8. (fyi) There is an alternative to going to the dealer for a replacement rear blade on the Lincoln MKX (assuming that Edge is the same too). It may first appear that the blade and arm are one piece but if you take a look, you'll see the wiper blade can be replaced and its actually quite simple. It is a special rear wiper blade though. There may be other alternatives, but the 'Trico Exact Fit Rear Blade' snaps right onto the special rear arm and looks like the factory original. You can find it online. Much cheaper than the dealer alternative and easier/less tedious than messing around with rubber blade refills. Comes with removal and replacement instructions too. Hope this helps.
  9. I'm looking for feedback on replacement wipers... I've got trico neoform beam blades on my other vehicle and they are really, really good but before I get another set, I wanted to see what everybody had to say - good or bad - about other wiper blade options for the Navigator. I figure better safe than sorry... Anyone? Bueller?? Bueller??? :stats:
