I honestly can't see why it's worth spending 10 minute of your break walking out to your car anyway? it's just plain stupidity. Yeah but really I don't think those 15 workers are actually going to be fired. I'm sure most of them if not all of them know the game. I'm sure they walked into HR one at a time and got handed a reprimand not termination but we won't really know because of company policy. What Chrysler does with them really isn't our business and the UAW may have worked something out because there were so many violators. I'm sure a deal was made for them to seek help through Value Options on condition basis that they get some kinda treatment in order to return to the job. I'm also sure many of them do not have a record, they looked to be older people that may have (and I'm speculating) some high seniority which will help them. I don't want to see them get fired and Fox 2 didn't. As for the Isom story, that was done over 4 years ago, but I just thought I would bring to light that story to possibly remind Fox 2 of their own violators. I normally don't play a "Devil's Advocate" but in this case I will. These guys have families and kids I'm sure. Huel Perkins did acknowledge this on the "Let it Rip" segment which I respect, but it was kinda funny how Andrea Isom was the one that did the live remote from the plant. I think that was a huge mistake on the part of Fox 2 unless they put her on to prove a point that Fox 2 news people are also subject to be scrutinized if doing the wrong thing. I just thought that was funny as shit tho. Here you got an Anchor field reporter doing a story on "Drunk Workers" when she herself has a DWI on her record for GOING the wrong way on Southfield. lol Just imagine if she killed people.

OK for all you Fox basher's out there that fault Fox 2 news for doing the "drunk smokers" story, I'll go ahead and throw you a bone here and allow you to comment on this. I kinda think we can't do one story without the other so here goes: From what I could find which was only a thread about Andrea Isom of Fox 2 News DUI, it's only a thread written by someone and without the actual press release it's hard to comment on it. So here it is.. My link Link2 I wonder why Andrea was able to return to Fox cause she is very annoying to listen to her on the air. She yells and talks fast like she's trying to keep her spotlight. Someone might argue that she wasn't working at the time of her DUI which could have been her day off, but tv personalities are held to a higher code of conduct then say a factory worker. It's much like an athlete being looked up too by a fan. If they violate that public persona then they are no longer respected by the community. Andrea Isom should have been let go for her bad behavior which is my point. See I am fair and balanced.

Let me give some of you my witty charm and knowledge on the media (Fox in specific). Once a Fox News affiliate such as channel 2 in Detroit does a story that spikes ratings all around the country through the roof, Fox news gets a hard on and they make more money on advertising dollars not to mention, the owner of Fox "News Corp." gets an even bigger hard on and more market share. The only anchor that day to bring to light that I saw (and it's on the blog we all know and love) was Megan Kelly. Look at the 5th video down on the page. Rob got national headlines, this story gave Fox 2 news a huge hard on. I bet channel 2 renewed his contract for the next 20 years in fact. You can see him smiling there the whole time, he knew he hit the big one. Especially after a 6B bailout this news story you have to admit was a biggie. Fox made money last week, check their market share it went up, Rob almost got the Pullet Surprise Award too and the affiliate channel 2 got huge ratings! This was no run of the mill Rob Wolcheck story, I bet he squirted in his pants talking to Megan Kelly. We may have more to see yet from him!.. Can't wait!!!

This guy doesn't even know how to speak to an interviewer about simple questions, how is this guy gonna be any better then gettofuc*ker.. He wont... Until this union starts to get back some of the money it's membership lost moral will be still low, attitude in a negative way towards the union will still be the same and nothing will change. It's about time that the higher ups start doing competitive cost cutting in their wages and cutting the fat. Anyone at the top shouldn't be making over a million a year accept for the CEO and even the CEO isn't worth over say 5 million. Anything more then that and it's ridiculous. Market share is effected by the decisions the company makes, it's not effected by it's workers. If your market share is low and shareholders are not making money, then the top needs to be reorganized not the labor building your product. Stop cutting the labor jobs and start trimming the fat. Go setup their desk with pillows and a tv and a fridge, they'll be enjoying themselves once they get settled into the position. They won't need pens, or grievance sheets, they won't need paper or calenders. They won't need a name plate on their door cause no one will take them seriously anyway. They won't need shoes on the job cause they'll have their slippers inside the office. What your vice president will need tho, is his own golf bag, some balls and teas. A nice cooler for refreshments, he'll need his own company paid vehicle with free gas so he can go to the strip club during work hours. He'll need his own food expense (petty cash) fund for meals a McDonalds, or Wendy's. He might even need his own pedicure gift card and lastly he will need a flyer's card to go from Michigan to Las Vegas every couple months. I don't know Rob Wolcheck personally no, I just call him Rob *I respect what he does.. Look at all the assholes he exposed in the city of Detroit. Oh but those people had problems also. sorry.. Hell Detroit is a better place now then what it was 15 years ago with all the people not doing their jobs and getting caught drinking and smoking on taxpayers time and money. People tend to remember headlines when their tax dollars are being wasted. Remember Ford didn't take a bail out, and neither GM or Chrysler is finished paying back the debt they asked for. Matter of fact They want to offer back the stock to the public for less then what it's actually worth to get the public buying it again. This wasn't the deal the tax payers bought in too when they agreed to bail out the industry. Your gov wants to sell government Motors stock for half then what it's actually worth. I think this is a raw deal were getting for bailing out the "drunk smokers". Fox has nothing to do with sensationalizing this story, it was Robs Story, he just came back to work for Fox 2 news because his contract ran out in 2007 and no other person bid for contract causing him to come back and his old contract renewed somehow. He told people this on WRIF about 2 months ago. He did not put any more spin on this story then he had done in the past on any other story. He is doing his job to expose the fuck ups. If all you people think Fox has an Axe to grind with the unions your all full of shit. It has nothing to do with the unions. It's called headlines and ratings. This is the perfect time where Ford can step up and make sure this doesn't happen.
