I'd figure it would run slow at start up as it needs to boot but I hope its not too terribly laggy while loaded up. At least they are FREE updates!!! Thank you Ford and MS for not gouging us for updates!

I had the $100 figure in my head as well but didn't want to post it as I wasn't 100% sure either. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in.

Nick- Thanks so much for the information. I was unsure of the screen tech as it said on Edmunds its "like a smartphone" which was so vague. Checking out the weatherTech site now, man those look nice (especially the digigfit), but wow they can be pricey. It seems there is no 2011, do you know if there is a difference? I'm apprehensive since its a model refresh and the floor layout might be different. Best to hold off I suppose but thanks for pointing these out!

We based our initial decision to purchase off test driving a 2010. Once we had already ordered, the local dealer got some 2011s in and we got to sit inside and check it out. Couldn't test drive it as it was buried 10 cars deep in their back lot but the interior and the rest was so much more refined than the 2010. Unfortunately, neither the salesman nor I could figure out how to work the myFord Touch which was a major bummer since I love tech stuff but I have gotten my fill from the videos online. Here is to hoping it works as easily as it shows in those videos.

This is extremely common place, especially in the PC world where everyone uses stock photography. There was one case, and I tried to find the thread but it was so long ago, where someone caught two companies using the same girl at her computer but one was white and one was a darker skinned Indian looking lady. Everything else was the same but the skin tone!

Ordered a 2011 edge and should be currently being built as we speak. I have a few questions for those in the know, or for those who own a 2011 edge. First, is the touch screen on the myFord Touch capacitive like an iPhone or is it more like a normal touch screen? Can anyone compare its feel to something common like perhaps the grocery store self checkout touch screens? Secondly, is there any option (or suggestions) for a remote start on a 2011 SEL edge? I'm open to factory or aftermarket but I ave no experience with any particular brands like viper, ect. Lastly, anyone have any experience with the all weather mat quality? The local dealer has none in stock and we have two new kids and we camp a lot so I want something rugged that will hold up well and protect the edge. Is it worth the price or would you suggest walmart (cheap) alternatives. Thank you for the suggestions!

New to the forum as well and custom ordered my edge as well. Got a SEL FWD with myFord touch and the towing package as we camp and haul up and down the mountains a lot. Congrats!

I thought you have to purchase within a certain amount of miles or else there is an additional fee added to the warranty. Anyone know for sure, and more specifically, what that limit is?
