I just ordered my truck on 2/14 and the dealer said should take 8 weeks total. Most of what I see on the forum is that once it hits production, it is only a day or 2 before it is done.

4I agree with you. I am surprised that all vehicles aren't going to these. I priced an LED for my Harley the other day and it was $580 so maybe that is why. Too expensive.

Wow, that is unbelievable luck. I have owned Fords for over 25 years and never had those types of issues. The bad part is I am in the process of ordering a truck similar to yours with the 6.2L. Sincerely hoping you are the exception and not the rule. Sorry for your troubles.

Question: Is there any truth that the high volume dealers get preference on their orders?

Is there anyone on the forum who has actually went ahead and had the gooseneck hide a ball type hitch intalled with this prep kit? I am trying to decide whether or not to order this for my new truck.

I am in the process of researching the purchase of a new F250. Does anyone know what they offer for extended bumper to bumper warranties with the new trucks now? I bought an Expedition in 2003 and got the 5yr/100,000 warranty when I made that purchase. I haven't seen any info out there on this topic as I have done my research. The other question is what do they cost? Thanks for any help.

Maybe they will have a special edition when Harley celebrates their 110th anniversary in 2013.
