  1. Sweet!! It would be nice to have it for the weekend, but I will expect it next week. Knowing how shipping is right now. It might be tomorrow, it might be next week... But I am starting to froth at the mouth and my wife is about to dis own me...
  2. I got this the other day. Does anyone know if that is ETA to the dealer or ETA to the end of the train ride? In Transit - Shipped Rail - Railcar # ETTX801983 (Canadian National Railways ) Ramp 5P, Flat Rock, MI Apr-27-2011, 15:00 ET. ETA May-06-2011.
  3. I am going to put the old style rally stripes on my 2012 GT and was wondering if anyone new where to get quality stripes.
  4. It may be a blessing. You never know. It's just like going in for a simple surgery and the doc leaves a sponge in you...
  5. Really good news. I hope mine is in that batch.
  6. I have heard from a lot more post of people ripping through gears, even sans clutch, than the ones with issues. I would not have any doubts it can handle some fun. Remember it's torque not HP that kills a tranny.
  7. I am curious what document to ask for from my dealer for order updates. So far they just ell me no update or "submitted to plant" but no VIN. So what should I ask them to fax me? An updated DORA? or what? Thanks.
  8. That is good to know. I haven't heard anything except some manual tranny issues. That "Fuelly" deal you have posted is pretty cool.
  9. Or the '11s have a serious flaw that they want to contain.
  10. That's an amazing number of miles! You must treat your baby right.
  11. Actually that is VERY interesting to me. That is one sexy design for a car. Well, if you are my age. But having not driven one, it might be more sexy than anything else. We've all seen that before. Gone for me are the days of slap together cars that rattle and you don't care. I have my 1966 Mustang for when I want to feel scared at 65MPH because I am drifting and floating on the road. And lord help me if I had bias-ply tires on it still! Hell I even put stainless disc breaks on it to help it and I still love it. But, sheesh that car is as old as me. Hmm. I wish I could put some aftermarkets on me... But I digress, That was a different age and time. Cars nowadays need to be sexy AND well designed and built.
  12. I will say this, I was a Chevy guy until I test drove my 2002 F150 SC FX4. Of which I have 155,000 on it with one issue, A coil pack, twice. (different ones) Other than that, it has been my favorite vehicle of all time, even over my 92 Corvette. Although the F150 cannot do donuts on a dead end street, (although I have not tried...) It is one solid mofo! I sold the Vette to buy it. I do hope my Mustang has the same reliability. I will not treat it the same as my 4x4 work truck by any means.
  13. That is awesome! I would probably be wiping it with a diaper all night, but that's just me. Might I ask when you placed the order?
