  10. Another aspect to look at, is how mechanically inclined are you? If you can do basic to intermediate repairs then there is a less need for the extended warranty as you can do most of the work. I agree the extra coverage is like a nice warm blanket, but why spend money on it when most defective parts will show themselves in the original warrranty and you can fix the rest of the stuff.
  11. You do get the electronic lock for the rearend but it automatically kicks out at 20mph.
  12. When I called Ford CS and asked for an update, after getting all my information she put me on hold. When she came back on she told me she had called my dealership and talked to them. She also requested that they call me with updates as soon as they get them. It was definitely a surreal experience.
  13. Another issue that might effect you is when the dealer put the order in to ford. I ordered mine on 3/5 but my DORA says ordered recieved on 3/11. I dont know if the dealer waited to order or if it took Ford that long to respond. From what I have read it seems like my dealer may have waited on it.

  15. I have a truck on order and was wondering about changing an option. I have heard that they issue you a new DORA, as I don't believe I have a VIN yet. Will this effect the time on my order, as in putting me at the back of the que again? Thanks ahead of time for the help.
