dear God is this the most unorganized company known to man! So we (frame lines) are told to report on Jan 26th, harrassed to sign paper saying we understand we are to report the 26th, before this layoff began. Recieve call today not to report until Feb 2, with no mention of anything about the memo we signed prior to leaving. Why cant Ford/KTP utilize all the modern day ammenities such as a website, text message, shit even a fucking 1-800 number to call with better and more details? Why do I have to scan the internet on non-company websited trying to figure out when Im suppose to go back to work? If anyone that is on chassis/frame/engine etc knows anymore about this please leave it here because the phone call I recieved from the speed reader sounded like Im not suppose to go back until Feb 2 now. If you only knew how much money we (UAW) have spent trying to get those 2 in Ky out you would be amazed. They both get destroyed in Jefferson County and Fayette County, the 2 biggest counties in the state, but Scott County where the Toyota plant is they carry, rest of the state usually votes Republican also. I know alot of us go down there occasionally and spend our hard earned money, please join me in boycotting that state and town. With one NO vote and the other senator not even bothering to vote I have spent my last dime down there, if only I could figure out a way not to spend any money in Ky because of our 2 asshole senators I would. We were so close to voting Mitch out this year I just wonder if all our members and their familys had hit the polls if we could have put him out of business, we will never know but hopefully the silver lining behind all this will be a strong showing at the polls in future years.
