  1. <jealous> Looks like my truck! Same color FX4 and same build date just a different destination hoping to get mine sometime this week!
  2. Thanks Cyberdman! I'm guess,(and hoping) that this should be my last request and the truck is either in shipping or arrived at the yard. Thanks again for providing this information on your own time. I look forward to begin able to post the pic of my new truck (after finally getting a good night sleep, lol)!
  3. Was at the Twin Cities auto show last week and saw the original Mustang Pool Table. Is this thing for real? Anyone own one? It would make for a great themed game room and being that a 1966 was the first vehicle I ever owned I'd love to have one in turquoise but darn if it isn't expensive!!! Great concept though just gotta bring the price down a tad bit for me because I want to play on it not look at it. Interested in hearing from anyone that has owned one.
  4. I've been a long time Ford owner. Bought my very first Ford when I was 15, after saving up money from a paper route. It was a 1966 Mustang and by the time I made it to high school it was a sweet ride that got a lot of looks. It also probably doomed me to a life of restoring and modding my vehicles. Since then, I've owned a couple GM products ('85 Blazer, '94 K1500 and '97 K1500) but the list of Fords includes: 1966 Mustang 1967 Mustang 1980 Mustang 2001 F-150 SuperCrew (Lariat 4x4) 2005 F-150 SuperCrew (FX4) And last but not least... and current ride: 2011 F-150 SuperCrew (FX4) The wife is currently rolling around in a 2007 MKZ, not a bad rid in itself. She loves it!
  5. Yep, you can find the memo in the F-Series forum. Apparently the additive that gives Tuxedo Black its metallic effect is sourced solely from Japan and supplies are limited.
  6. Per the OP, I agree with the need for an online tracking solution. Every ordered a pizza online from Dominos? That's what we need for vehicle orders.... instead of you pizza is now cooking in the oven "your truck is on the assembly line being built now"!
  7. I don't believe the shocks are any different until you get into the Raptor?
  8. It is the day it "goes through" the assembly line.
  9. My last new truck was in 2005, noticed on the window sticker for my new truck that they now carry 5 year/60,000 Powertrain and Roadside Assistance. That is enough piece of mind for me. I can buy another in 5 years and always be under warranty (assuming powertrain should cover most major expenses). I bought a 75k mile extended warranty on an '01 SuperCrew that dropped a valve at 78k. I got some out of it (can't remember if Ford covered 50% of the costs since it was so recently out of warranty) but after that experience I won't buy another. I'm very happy to see the 5 year/60,000! Even though I'm probably close to 100,000 after 5 years its a lot better than 36,000.
