Ordered in Jan...built last Wed/Thurs...still waiting on an ETA. I'm sure everyone is different. It seems the steps from getting the VIN to the build date are fairly standard, but once the car is actually built, the time it takes to reach the dealer varies quite a bit...this probably due to a number of factors that influence transport (mode of transport, distance to dealer, location of dealer (rural vs. urban), etc.).

Many thanks...might have something to do with the fact that I'm kind of out of the way in WV. I just hope it's not sitting outside the factory too long.

I'm interested in finding out how you guys are obtaining ETAs. I have a vin, a window sticker and etis is telling me my car was built on Thursday, 5/5. However, the sales manager at my dealership was not able to provide me with an ETA on Friday when I inquired. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to figure out something and hope that maybe someone on here can help me out. I placed an order for a Titanium Focus back on Jan. 13. I still have no VIN or build date, yet it appears as if people that have ordered a similarly-equipped car much later than me are beginning to receive their VINs and build dates. What could be the reason(s) for this? Thanks in advance
