Why are you thanking Obama? Why is it a good thing that he will force people to accept coverage which is inferior to what is already being provided? Why are exemptions for Obamacare ok for some, not not for others? It doesn't matter, Obamacare thankfully won't happen. In fairness, doesn't completely overhauling the Explorer from the ground up also indicate that the previous generation wasn't very good? The first one reminds me of that Youtube clip a few years back made by some Toyota dealership, attempting to say the Tundra was better than the F-150, Ram and Silverado. Some thing, hook a chain to both of their rear bumpers, and pull. The funny thing is, just like in this clip, it doesn't appear that the competition has the AWD engaged, as well as appearing that the driver of the competition isn't really trying very hard to win. Both come off looking desperate and cheap. And really, does the Government funded Dodge want to go head to head with the non Government funded Ford? I like both vehicles, but I hate the way manufacturers go after one another in commercials. Sell me on why your product is better, not on why you think the other is worse. I hated when Ford would compare their quality to Toyota or Honda in commercials. Don't even mention those names. Just talk about how great the new Focus / Taurus / etc is

Seems a little short sighted on your part. Nobody says Ford has to invest heavily in a V8 RWD, or make it their flagship vehicle. But Ford is missing a prime oppourtunity to gain buyers by offering the same as their competitors. And it's not just Ford, it's Lincoln as well. Tell me, do you think the Charger/300 or the CTS would have as many sales if Ford had a choice in that market? Ford could also take sales from the Germans. Not having a vehicle in that segment is hurting Ford.

And still no plans from Ford for a V8 Sedan with RWD. Sad. Really sad.

You missed the point. rn4 said "Obama's doing exactly what he campaigned on", yet I provided examples of things he campaigned on, but failed to do. It doesn't matter if he has done things that he said he would do, he has failed to live up to what he promised. Whether it's one thing, or a hundred things. People like rn4 want to recall Snyder because he is doing things he didn't campaign on. Yet the exact same thing can be said about Obama. So again I ask, why is it ok for Obama to break campaign promises, but not ok for Snyder to do so? If you would just answer the question, then we could save bandwidth.

That is just a bold face lie. If you honestly think that, then you never watched Fox during Bush's Presidency. Geraldo Rivera, a Democrat, said more negative things about Bush, then anyone on the other networks have about Obama combined. But just because FOx didn't constantly attack Bush, like the other networks did, doesn't mean they were a suckass for him.

If you want to recall Snyder because he is not living up to his campaign promises, then you should recall Obama for doing the same thing. It should not be about which political party the person is for, but rather that he isn't doing what he said he would do. Or do you not care since Obama is on your side, so therefore it's ok?

Fox criticized some of Bush's decisions more than the others have criticized Obama, combined. They all suck. It would just be nice if the Dems on this board would acknowledge that.

This is what I can't figure out. How do the same people who accuse the Republicans of wanting to kill democracy, turn around and want to throw out the results of perfectly legit election? Your final point says it all. Union members bring their own fate upon themselves. I can only control what I do, so therefore I will support who I want to support. The people at my plant who don't drive Ford, or CAW built vehicles, are the problem. It doesn't matter if the vehicle was handed down, or such a great deal they had to buy it. It looks horrible when you work for Ford, and have a Civic sitting in your driveway. It also looks horrible if you are a government employee, in a heavily automotive influenced area, and choose to support the competition. Go drive passed a school, hospital, fire station, or any other government building, and see how many vehicles are imports. So if these people decide not to support me, why should I support them? Feel free to support whomever you wish, but just know that the people you'd go to battle for, will stick you in the back with a knife the first chance they get. Where were the teachers unions when the auto manufactures were in trouble? Unions are not under attack. Ensuring you and your family have a future is what the issue is. And if States, and cities continue to go bankrupt, then there will be no future. The fat needs to be trimmed. And just because you are in a union, doesn't mean you won't be affected. I can't stand the fear mongering the left is using. Republicans don't hate unions, or the middle class. Republicans hate waste. A republican has no problem paying $50 for a steak, as long as the steak is worth $50. The problem they have is paying $50 for a steak, but getting one that's only worth $10. Republicans hate being forced to pay $50 for a steak, if they know they are only getting one worth $10. Being in a union should not guarantee you a job for life. DOing your job well, should guarantee you have a job for life. When the unions realize this, then unions will be far better off

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. If teachers, and other public sector employees go out of their way to buy imported cars, then I say they have made their choice as to who's side they are on. And if they aren't on my side, then they are on the other. I will support those who support me. I will not support those who do not support me. It's that simple. Go ahead and stand up for the teachers, just know that when it's your turn to fight, the teachers will not be there next to you.
