ya spring i'm not to impressed with this current union structure at all.hell back in the tire hole the 120 day clock i guess doesn't pertain back here. there letting them pretty much do whatever they want back here.the only ones who have even been helpful is jimmy h and steve w.Were pretty much hung out on our own.

we were just layed off two weeks in a row.before that its been a while.but once kansas city starts building that new transit look out this van will fade away

i work at avon and i would say no as of now there is no future here. there not fixing nothing.the product were getting if you look at the numbers it will be a one shift plant.to me it looks like there slowly phasing out this plant . the product were getting is a motorhome chassi. which i would think not sell to well in this economy.in-source medium truck and frame assembly from Mexico, along with in-source Motorhome Chassis. there giving the plant 128 million which isnt nothing as far as investment in a plant.BUT THATS JUST MY 2 CENTS

IT'S not about if we believe him or not. whether he is telling the truth or not. We as a union need to set a better example and adhere to a higher standard if we are ever going to attract more members. If he isn't sincere its his loss and he has to live with himself.UNIONS as a whole are painted in a bad light . were lazy . dope smokers, beer guzzlers. ect. i have worked on the line next to some of the brightest (one was a college professor which came to ford for a better life) people. We need to as a whole attract and show people what unions can do for them and how it can better there way of life,.if he is dishonest well at least union brothers tried to give a helping hand as we do time and time again .

Sorry non union slug. not all the people on here represent the union to well. you know what they say one bad apple. I think it comes from years of us hearing people say were uneducated , drunks and lazy. Well that was the past . the present is by far different. I guess the first step would be to contact the union on there web site so you can get a hold of the appropriate people to handle this the way it should be. I agree with you allot of the lower management does get allot of abuse. there does need to be some sort of guidelines and standards for you to .I have 21 years in and I have to say after a while you develop a hardened skin. the auto industry isn't for everyone you have to be able to take and give abuse at the work place for sure. good luck and I know for one I would love to have you join our union. even though our union isn't perfect it does have it's uses. it has given allot of us a voice and better working conditions. sorry to hear about you fiancée. good luck

isn't it amazing that when you owe ford money they charge you interest.lol i haven't heard anything in our plant about any money being sent out.

okay it was a general question not a "life changing one" i thought this was to find out information ? i guess it was for people like you louie to be a smartass. this is why i never post shit on here to many assholes. this is suppose to be a place where all ford employee's can find out what's being said and heard in other plants.as far as asking a chairman well if we ever see him then ya but i never see chairmans from other plants to ask then do we? Well anyways that's all ive been hearing that there was another round coming up.

been hearing that they will offer a second round of transfere's to chicago and louisville . has anyone heard the same?
