  1. One thing that I have noticed is that I can "hear" (and feel) the intake struggle when hard launching and kicking it down to pass on the highway. I'm thinking now of updating the intake setup. I've seen on eBay a cold air setup for the car but was looking more for something that had a larger capacity or maybe the surge attachment. Has anyone here made this change? If so have you noticed any difference? Joe
  2. Molded mud flaps (4) Window vent deflectors Hood deflector 2012 Red Candy Titanium
  3. One week and 1,200 miles later (can't get out of the damn car) I have to say the shifting is a lot better. At first I too had the dreaded lag at launch but that is so much better now. It seems to be still learning but now that "I" understand what the transmission is doing (it's not an automatic, it's not an automatic, it's not an automatic) I really love it. Patience is key to allowing this to become educated to what you're doing as a driver. A++ for this one Ford! (why didn't the dealer tell me this about the car??)
  4. Here in Mass, if you have on older "green" colored plate you only need the one (which I have thankfully, the front looks so much better without). As for the rear plate mount, I too saw that it had only the bumpers. But I also noticed that the middle of the bumpers were hollow. I found a couple of small sheetmetal screws and was able to thread into the center of these bumpers (I have caps that go over the screws for the plate frame, snaps over a plastic cup that is under the screw). You'd never know it and it's pretty secure.
  5. Mine is U6 (bullt 5/11). Why the difference? Why would the issues is Japan have anything to do with the paint?
  6. Red Candy titanium here, built May 11. Has the cover and glad it does. I think it really adds to the look.
  7. Good conversation! So, if I understand it correctly, what I have can in fact do navigation but it requires the SD card and some software enhancements. Also, Ford is working towards this?
  8. I just picked up my Titanium last Friday with Red Candy. It is listed as an option (more $$) but available.
  9. @akirby Thanks, not what I was hoping to hear. It's too bad, it would have been a nice system with it. To me it's useless without it and a major detraction from a wonderful car.
  10. I picked up my 2012 Focus Titanium almost a week ago. I love the car and almost everything about it save for one which I'll elaborate on. What I assumed (that dreaded word) is that it had was a navigation system so I would no longer need my Garmin. Well, except for the "turn by turn" instructions (which is pretty much useless), there's nothing. So to me this 8" screen is nothing more than a fancy radio. ?Now fast forward to today, I'm reading more and more on the web about the car and I find something about Ford and Telenav entering into an agreement and SD card plug in's. Now getting excited again I call my dealer (great folks) and he said that there is an update in the pipeline but wasn't sure if mine would be seeing it or not. Does anyone here have any idea about this possibility? Joe
