  1. I see "Red Candy Metallic Tinted Clearcoat" is an option again via Build & Price. Hopefully I'm not getting some bastardized color...
  2. Thanks for the info. I'll report back once it comes in. Hopefully soon. Justin
  3. My order confirmation says RZ. Will the new Red Candy (RZ) be metallic? Thanks, Justin
  4. Hi, I ordered a 2012 SE hatch in Red Candy on July 5th. Initially, there were not accepting orders for Red Candy because of the Japan situation. When we ordered the salesman told us that they had a replacement color that would be indistinguishable from the Red Candy Metallic that we've seen. Now I see that Ford pulled Red Candy (and others) completely. I've heard others speculating that my "Red Candy" will be the same color but will not have the metallic flake. Can anyone confirm this? Also, will the metallic colors return at any point? Thanks, Justin

  6. Does anybody know if the improvement in mpg will lower or eliminate the gas guzzler tax for the GT500?
  7. The fact that the Japanese government is giving Toyota a $2 billion bailout for consumer lending in the US speaks for itself. If most of the profits were staying in the US why would Japan care so much about Toyota's bottom line?
  8. Really? Explain to me how you can a gallon of gasoline for $2/gallon when the price of a barrel of oil is $140+ and there are only 42 gallons of crude in a barrel. Or would you have them sell based on their costs of acquiring the oil when they could sell it on the market for full price? Why would a business (or anyone) do such a thing? The only thing ludicrous here is your statement.
  9. Does anyone know when the Escape/Mariner is getting SYNC? Some guy in an Edmunds forum stated that it would be available on '08 models actually built in '08. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
  10. dfs - I'm pretty sure it's a tax CREDIT, not deduction, so you'd actually save the full $3000 in taxes. Unless of course, you get hit by the AMT.
  11. Thanks akirby, that worked! It looks like... Total MSRP - $48,440.00 X Plan Price - $44,179.00 So basically, I think I'm better off with the $4400 off MSRP that the dealer is offering because then I can also use the AQHA rebate. 48,440 MSRP (4,400) "Dealer discount" (500) AQHA (4,000) rebate (or 0%) (1,000) bonus cash $38,540 Actually, with fees and stuff the X-plan is probably a wash ... like you said earlier. Thanks again.
  12. Is there similar link for Lincoln vehicles? Thanks.
  13. Correction: The bonus cash is actually $2,007 (the ad in the paper was a mis-print). Does anyone know what the x-plan price on this truck would be? Or how I could find out? Thanks. Justin
  14. With VIN: 5LTPW18507FJ09887 Monochrome Elite 20" wheels chrome bed rails limited slip Otherwise, does anyone know if I'd be better off negotiating a price on my own? My local dealer is advertising $4400 off MSRP BEFORE the rebates. They also list $2700 bonus cash plus 0% or $2500. I also qualify for the AQHA $500 rebate. Thanks so much! Justin
