I'm home so I got to watch the video finally. Haven't seen that clip of it, not the one I thought it was. 3500rpm launch and shifting at 6500-7000 and rev limiter at 8000rpm. Yes that's mild, lots left on the table. It's a SuperStocker remember, it should launch around 5000 or better and shift around 9000. Some of the sbc run up to 10,11,000rpm in the lights, an ohc engine should do that easily. It's a SuperStocker but the rear end isn't tubbed and it's not fully maxed out suspention wise. Running Stocker legal slicks? Yeah that thing is bad ass. Imagine what it could launch at with 13-32's under the ass! Also, those looked like radial hoosiers which don't grow at all on the top end, since he's hitting the limiter right at the line, a tire that will grow will allow a shorter rear gear which again will pick it up.
