  1. Hey DarkeRetribution, Look at this video, the console is all lit up and it doesn't look bad at all. I actually dig it. It's clean, simple and sophisticated and not cluttered. You can skip to the 1:08 mark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7kgP-UVoX4&t=1m9s
  2. Here are a couple of videos that just popped up on YouTube of the Fusion Hybrid
  3. I never said that it was a Sony radio. Just stating that this is what the interior looks like with the MFT system that's not Sony or has the Sony logo. As far as I understand all radios (except the Sony radio) are manufactured by Panasonic.
  4. Here's a video of the MFT system without the Sony branding. EDIT*** Sorry forgot the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAq9DgqxE3s
  5. I don't think I added some proof regarding the chrome on the door handles. I live in Canada and looking on the Ford Canada website regarding the specs and options available it clearly states that the chrome handles are only available on the Titanium models. Personally, I like the look of the car without the chrome...
  6. I have to agree with you that the Sync screen is very ugly and screams a big disappointment... Not very "Premium" looking. Perhaps they are hoping most people will opt in for the MFT system once they see the difference between the two. Even if they don't intend to use the MFT that much.
  7. I guess my question to you is, what stereo comes with the gas version SE model that has the optional MFT system? A Sony branded stereo? Or the stereo that I posted a pic above? I do think you have a point about the pics on the Ford site, but I believe you're wrong. I ordered a 2013 Hybrid with every single option and when I was going through the order guide with my rep and his sales manager he did say that the car does not come with the Sony radio. It was only available on the Titanium model. I will have to go with the order guide on this one since every dealership in North America is going by that. Oh and just to answer any possible questions about it being an option? Nope, it wasn't even available to put in as an option.
  8. This is the radio you get in the hybrid with the MFT system. There is also a video on YouTube of the active park assist being showed off with this radio. The car being used was an SE version. I too at first thought that the Hybrid had the Sony system, but now I know, and it doesn't bother me at all.
  9. I posted this in another thread, but this is how it looks without MFT. This picture also shows you the analog tach and speedo.
  10. This video goes through all the menu options on the Fusion Hybrid. Very informative!!! :stats: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pnwTRJwfco
  11. Nice! I ordered my Fusion Hybrid on August 18th and was told 10-12 weeks (approx Early Nov for delivery). I'm guessing that the gas engine variants will be made before the hybrids. I sure hope they pump these things out nice and quick. I can't wait to start turning heads! I ordered the Ruby Red with black leather with everything except the block heater, because it will be parked in my garage when at home. I emailed my dealership Monday and the update was that there was no update. No VIN number has been issued and no estimated build date issued. The wait is killing me!!!
  12. You can use this site to track your order http://researchmania...yCarOrders.html I tried to do a search for you, but your VIN number is not found. Did you type it correctly?
  13. It sure has been quiet around here. I have been waiting for the dealership to call or email me my VIN number so I can lookup the window sticker and see when the car is scheduled to be made. At that point I will know that it's only a matter of time! The waiting is killing me!!!
  14. If I wasn't getting the Hybrid I would have definitely have gotten the Titanium model. Does anybody know if the 2013 hybrid has an electric air conditioner so when the engine is off you will still have a/c? Also, how does it work for the heater? Does the engine have to be on to work?
  15. I have a feeling that they will give the car more "customization" options for the 2014+ models. They probably had to make the car more "cookie cutter" for the first year due to the projected hype and demand for this vehicle. As a customer who has placed an order for the 2013 Fusion Hybrid, it's a bit of a pain since I have ordered it fully loaded with all the available options. The difference in $$ compared to the fully loaded Titanium isn't that far off, so it should have the same options as the titanium model (in my opinion). However, I'm in the market right now for a new car and having to wait for next years model or the Energi (which I would have waited for if I could) isn't possible for me. As of right now, I'm expecting my car to arrive early to mid November.
  16. So I've dug a little deeper to see if I can find the answers to some of the questions within this thread. This is what I've found: Push to Start is not available in the Hybrid vehicle it looks like it will come with a flip out key. I have found this quick start guide and on page 11 it states "When you turn the ignition on, your engine may not sound like it has started because your hybrid vehicle is equipped with Silent Key Start (SKS)." http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pubs/content/~WODFHY/~MUS~LEN/41/13fhyqg1e.pdf Also it does look like the image above of the Hybrid's interior with the "some what bare" center console is correct. Here's a link to the hybrid owners manual. Look at page 108-109 http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pubs/content/~WODFSN/~MUS~LEN/41/13fsnom1e.pdf Lots of interesting details within the owners manual. Worth the read even if this doesn't end up being a final version of the manual it's pretty interesting...
  17. I ordered my hybrid fully loaded on Saturday. The dealership sent my order in on Monday (yesterday). They are expecting that hybrid will take 10-12 weeks for delivery. Gas versions should start arriving in 6-8 weeks. I'm in Ontario Canada! The states might be sooner
  18. I just found this picture of the interior for the S and SE model without MFT/Nav. You can see how the centre cluster and instrument cluster will look. It actually looks really nice. If you zoom in on the pic you can see where the key will go (lower right of the steering wheel column). Obviously no IA/PS feature on S and SE models. I still have a hard time believing that the pic (posted above) of the interior for the hybrid will be final. The center console looks too bare compared to this pic and the titanium pics. Hopefully more pics will appear in the near future. Showing how it will look with the MFT/Nav screen, etc.
  19. I hear what you're saying, but watch this walk through of the hybrid model. It sure looks like the Sony system and the same instrument cluster as the Titanium model. It also has the push to start.
  20. The Hybrid looks a little bare on the interior. Don't these cars come with the Sony system? The MFT system (if this model has it) doesn't look right. Perhaps this is the bare bones system since it's pre-production? I also understood that the hybrid comes with a IA/PS feature similar to the Focus Electric cars.
