  1. neod192 is correct. Mine was built yesterday. Pretty stoked right now. Now I just have to hope it ends up on a railcar soon and not in limbo. Shipping time to Fort Worth, TX seems to only be a couple weeks if all goes smoothly
  2. Update please? VIN# 3FA6P0RU4DR278648 Thank you.
  3. Please check status for me. VIN# 3LN6L2LU2DR815863 Thank you.
  4. Ya, I applied for financing and was approved back in August when I ordered my car and again in October after that expired. I then realized there was no point until after the car actually arrives. Funny thing is my credit union gave me a 2% rate and I let the Ford dealer talk me into checking my credit because he thought their financing could give me a better rate. They said they couldn't finance me at all in spite of my wife and I both having credit scores around 800. I get offers all the time from credit card companies that want to give me a new $50k limit credit card but Ford's financers won't lend me $30k to buy a car? I wonder what their requirements are. Not that it bothers me particularly. I would prefer to use our credit union. They have always been good to us and no hassles with all of our loans.
  5. I have a window sticker now as well for a HyTi build date of 3/18
  6. I now have a VIN# 3FA6P0RU4DR278648 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Sterling Gray Dealer: F52008 Order: T100 Thank you
  7. Ok, I guess I understand the allocation system to a certain extent but why is it that people like captinkirk above who ordered 2 weeks ago have a scheduled build date while some of us who ordered in early November do not. Nothing against those people, I am happy they are getting their cars soon. It's guess it's just frustrating to me since I started with an SE hybrid and switched, it's now been over 6 months of waiting since my original order in August.
  8. Ok, created a signature. Let's see if it works. I called Ford and got a VIN# but no scheduled date yet.
  9. Ok, so false alarm. After contacting him yesterday and not getting a date or VIN I called Ford customer support. They said it is still in order processing and no VIN yet. So apparently when my dealer said "yours is scheduled for later in March" what he really meant is that he hopes it will be scheduled then. Kind of pissed about the misinformation since I got my hopes up but this is pretty much what I have come to expect from my experiences with this dealer by now. My first sales rep was worse but he is no longer with the company. This guy was supposed to be the high quality experienced replacement.
  10. So after emailing my dealer every week for three weeks with no response I dropped by and they said they would check my HyTi order. They called and said my ruby red HyTi was scheduled for 3/8. I told them mine wasn't red so they said they would look into it and call back. He called back and said it was scheduled for "sometime later in March" and that the red one was a dealer order. I will call him tomorrow and see if I can get an exact date and VIN#. Until then I don't trust them with their track record of misinformation over the last six months.
  11. Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Sterling Gray Dealer: F52008 Order: T100 Thank you!
  12. I requested an update last Friday and status was still unscheduled. However, I think I am the only one who put in an order before January to request an update in the last week. Somebody needs to go update their status post and ask again.
  13. They have to start scheduling our titanium hybrids any day now, right? Maybe? Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Sterling Gray Dealer: F52008 Order: T100 Thank you!
  14. Fastronaut put in a status request in the vehicle locator forum today so I will probably hold off until Friday.
  15. I will request a status update on my Hybrid Titanium for Wednesday morning if nobody else has done it by then.
  16. Time to give it another shot. We'll get lucky one of these weeks. Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Sterling Gray Dealer: F52008 Order: T100 Thank you!
  17. Please track if possible: Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Sterling Gray Dealer: F52008 Order: T100 Thank you!
  18. So on Friday I went into the dealership, told him exactly what options I wanted on my Titanium hybrid and told him to order it. This morning I emailed him back with a couple questions and got this response: "I have been confirming information with our Ford rep regarding your order this morning. It looks like it will be December before we can submit Titanium orders. You are correct about the wheels, 19" are not available on the Titanium. I will let you know when the order bank opens." So, if he can't order it yet, what's the big rush for everybody who is doing this now? What difference would it make for me to wait a month?
  19. This is true. Whatever the quoted mpg is will be for the base hybrid SE. Any option which adds weight or affects aerodynamics or tire changes are going to have at least some effect on mpg. And it's a percentage effect which means it will be a greater mpg difference on a high mpg vehicle than on a low one.
  20. I keep seeing people talk about the Weathertech floor mats. I'm guessing those are useful for people who live up north only? I'm in Texas and it might snow two days a year here. I'm guessing I would be better off with standard or premium mats?
  21. And you could save a lot more than that buying something a few years old. I think they are all reasonably priced options especially when you look at what those cost in a more expensive car. Shoot, they even charge more for those options in a Taurus.
  22. Ok, I went ahead and upgraded today. Titanium hybrid Sterling Gray 19" wheels Moonroof Driver Assist Adaptive Cruise Navigation
