  1. I look at the Ford Canada Dealer Inventory and check out inventory in the Vancouver area. I have only seen the Energi in inventory twice, and they were sold immediately. The inventory hasn't been re-stocked on the Energi. There is one fellow out in Chilliwack, B.C. on the C-Max forum with the Energi and he loves it. Your Energi should have the MFT 3.5.1 which will be great for you as you likely won't have the MFT glitches. It seems C-Maxes built after February have the 3.5.1. upgrade. We are still waiting for ours and need the hands free tail gate upgrade too. Enjoy your Energi when it arrives Doug. I tracked mine on the train after it was built so that was fun--I could see every town it passed through. But you need your salesman to give you a copy of the railcar to do that.
  2. I just went to Ford.ca and could build and price on it for either Energi of hybrid. I have had the SEL December. Not many bought and sold around my area. We are still the first one sold at our dealership--with perhaps one other sold since last Fall. They don't seem to be advertised at all locally--not sure what that is about. We have never seen another one on the road here in Vancouver. I am beginning to think we bought an Edsel. I do have a little unease about why they aren't selling here. No inventory? No interest from consumers? No interest from dealerships?
  3. VIN 1FADP5BU6DL525455 Hello again Cyberdman. Will you please update the status of this Ford C-Max Hybrid? Thank you kindly.
  4. VIN 1FADP5BU6DL525455 Could you please track this car? You helped me with my tracking on my C-Max, and this is my friend in Louisana who ordered back at the beginning of December. She cannot get any info. from her dealer and I say I would ask you to help her. Thanks on behalf of Rachel in Louisana.
  5. We got our C-Max at the end of November and we love it! We are just north of you. I took about 7 weeks from order time to delivery.
  6. Cyberdman I would like to thank you for helping with all the tracking of my C-Max. I got it Nov.29th. I did post a thank you and a picture of it with me on Dec.4th over in the Welcome section as I couldn't figure out how to post it here. You are a great guy and I appreciate what you did. Merry Christmas.
  7. Cyberdman I really appreciate all the time you took tracking my C-Max Hybrid. She arrived safe and sound last Friday. Here is a photo of us. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
  8. Happy Thanksgiving. Cyberdman may I please have an update C-Max Hybrid SEL VIN 1FADP5BU9DL513669 Thank you, Laurel
  9. The Fusion is a beautiful car and the hybrid sounds fantastic. We were going to get the Fusion Hybrid, but fell in love with the C-Max Hybrid so ordered one on Oct.5th. Hopefully we will get ours in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure your FFH will well be worth the wait. Hopefully they start moving to dealers soon.
  10. Cyberdman may I please have an update C-Max Hybrid SEL VIN 1FADP5BU9DL513669 Hopefully my next post will be a picture of my new car. Thank you. Laurel
  11. Cyberdman does us a great service. But it is amazing how many people don't follow his instructions for asking him to search for their vehicle while it is being built i.e. don't ask more than once a week and each time you ask put in the VIN as he doesn't have time to search for it. Today someone asked, "Can you give me an update?" Of course no VIN was given and cyberdman responded, "Sure" with no info. Hint, hint, folks put in the VIN. I think his sense of humour is priceless!
  12. Hello Cyberdman. Would you please track my C-Max Hybrid SEL? VIN 1FADP5BU9DL513669. Thank you for all your hard work. Laurel
  13. Still no news on my C-Max. I can hardly wait to get some news.
  14. You need to have 10 posts and then you can go to the employee section and request a search. Wow a Mustang! That will be great.
  15. Hi Scooter. I am waiting for my factory order C-Max too. Can hardly wait for it to get here. Have yet to see any C-Max's on the road in Canada.
  16. Congratulations! I have a C-Max on order. Hope you enjoy your new car.
  17. Sassy I am waiting for my C-Max Hybrid, and I of course will name her. Right now I have a 2011 Smart Car that I do love. She is a quirky green color and her name is "Pickle". I think you need to find something rarer than your suggestions so far i.e. Ruby, Belle, Sassy. Your new red Ford Escape needs something out of the ordinary. I'll try to think of some good names and get back to you--maybe make a play on words concerning Escape i.e. Houdini??
  18. Harley my understanding is that you have to have 10 posts on this forum before you can ask to have your order tracked. Once you have 10 posts you go to the employee section and a very nice fellow does the tracking. I ordered my C-Max Hybrid on Oct.8th and I haven't got a VIN or any info. I was told it might take until January to get my car.
  19. Thank you both for answering my question. I guess I may be waiting awhile. The dealer said 8-12 weeks. I hope my little car is built when all the workers are having a good day.
  20. On Saturday I ordered a C-Max Hybrid in British Columbia. My question is: When Ford gets my order for my Ice Storm with stone interior, will they check the inventory for Canada and if there is one that matches all the specifications in my order, will they send me that one or will they carry on and build it as a factory order?
  21. Our dealer in Vancouver, B.C will be getting their first 2013 Fusion Hybrid next week. They got their C-Max this week. I think they will be buzzing around all over by the end of the month--Fusion Hybrids and the C-Max. My fingers are crossed for you Delnatha. I might not get my factory order C-Max until January!
  22. I factory ordered an Ice Storm with stone interior today--it will have the 303 A package, no moon roof, but has park assist and all those goodies. We took the C-Max for a test drive yesterday. I believe our demo was the first one to arrive in British Columbia. I have been trying various hybrids for the past 10 months or so, and couldn't find one that appealed to me. When we drove into the dealership yesterday and I spotted the C-Max, I immediately liked its looks. I thought the double grills and the whole look was very European and kind of expensive looking (well it is actually kind of expensive). I LOVED the seats being so high off the ground that you don't moan and groan trying to get in and out and you don't bang your head on the door frame as you get in and out as the clearance is wonderful. I think the C-Max should target the seniors market as I am 63 yrs. old and most of my friends complain that they cannot find a nice car that is easy to get in and out of. This one fills the bill. We walked around checking out all the features before we took it on the road. Nice maneuverability with the steering wheel so you can position it right where it feels best for the driver. Seats in front were comfortable, lots of head room, nice storage in the door panels. The My Ford Touch did work perfectly for us on our test drive. It was easy to operate and it responded well to voice commands. Liked the back up camera that showed the tracking of the turns. Lots of head room in the rear passenger seats and space for two big men or three smaller people. Those seats do not move forward or back and don't recline. And the padding in those seats should be increased as they wouldn't be comfortable for a long trip. The rear seats fold down easily and are totally flat when down. There are a couple of hidden storage areas under the feet of the rear passengars for small items like cameras--you lift up a panel in the carpet where the feet rest. Kind of nifty. When the seats are flat there is lots of storage to transport things. It isn't big enough for a six foot tall man to stretch out without his feet hanging about six inches over the bumper, but it would work for a nap if you lay kitty corner on a long trip. The tail gate feature with a person swinging their foot under the bumper to open it was really cool. The car had lots of pep. The transition from gas to battery is pretty seamless--just a little background rumbling sound. I liked the leaf gauge and the gauges on the far left that show various things like mileage and whether you are in EV mode etc. We found the car stayed in EV most of the time other than when going up grades and hills. Our demo had been averaging about 5.8 L per 100 kilometers which I think is great since a bunch of heavy footed customers had been testing it out over the past couple of days. Like us taking it up on the freeway and getting up to 120 kph from a dead stop. Handled the entry in heavy traffic pretty well--a little torquing to the right due to the front wheel drive. The car feels solid and is very quiet and takes railway tracks and bumps very comfortably. We couldn't really find any negatives on our two hour test ride. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Did the dinkering on my trade in today. Sheesh why would the sales manager think a 63 yr old woman would be impressed with an offer of nitrogen in the tires when I had asked for the first servicing to be free instead??? That would be fine for the younger men but I wanted something that was tangible to me. The dinkering was stressful and frustrating. That was the only negative for me. I was told the wait may be 8-12 weeks--hope it comes sooner.
