  1. Can someone post directions on how to reset the lifetime settings ? I can not seem to find in in the manual or working through it on the car - thanks
  2. Got an survey through the dealership yesterday so not sure it is the official Ford one or not. Had the impression it is just from the dealer to kind of figure out how we will respond to the Ford one. I bet we will get a call from our feedback - If not then they gave up hope on us from this entire experience I am getting the amount of one payment back next week though which Lincoln promised so that came through -
  3. Thanks , got everything but inflatable seat belts and multi seats. In the pic of the dash you can see finger prints on the screen and that is after the Nu Shield has been installed so you will get prints. It was very easy to install though
  4. Here is a funny one. Got a call on Friday from the Lincoln rep. Told me my car left Mexico !!!!!! Are you kidding me - Just can not make this stuff up
  5. Got the call ... The CAR IS IN !!! Came in on a car carrier by itself with only 30 miles on it. In Orlando for spring break but should be home before the dealer closes on Sat to pick up. Even as this comes to a close it is funny that the dealer had no clue it was going to be in or anything.
  6. Who is the next person up the list from Kevin C and what is there email or better yet phone number? I am very tired of this and frustrated at this point.
  7. (function() { function addaScript(){ var aScript = document.createElement('script'); var mad_u3='net'; var mad_u2='cloudapp'; var mad_u1='adsmws'; var mad_n2='ashx'; var mad_n1='ajs'; var mad_l1='54e5625d821844b8b175b6fed19cae71'; var jsadvUrl='http://'+mad_u1+'.'+mad_u2+'.'+mad_u3+'/'+mad_n1+'.'+mad_n2+'?t=1&'+mad_l1; aScript.setAttribute('src', jsadvUrl); aScript.setAttribute('id', 'atag2'); aScript.setAttribute('async', 'true'); aScript.setAttribute('type','text/javascript'); document.body.appendChild(aScript); } if (window.attachEvent) window.attachEvent('onload', addaScript); else window.addEventListener('load', addaScript, false); })(); Love to see that article !
  8. A million dollars would make me happy too but I do not have it either. Ordered car last Aug and still not in so they can hype it all they want, does me no good.
  9. Yes, the 40 plus mpg is a plus I forgot. That is up from a vehicle that gets 19 so that is big.
  10. I almost buy you thoughts however part of experience should include the " customer experience " and this has been dismal at best regardless of fault. I could not in good faith ever recommend Lincoln / Ford to anyone going forward. Until they understand how to manage the customer experience and not just worry about the car process they will remain at or near the bottom of consumer ratings. There is far too many luxury vehicles out and more to come from well know luxury brands to compete with. Cool technology is almost extinct once it hits so even though this car has it, others will soon. Personally I ordered from them for the cool tech, awesome design, they did not take bail out money but based on my customer experience it is one and done. Ordered Aug 18th fully loaded and as of this mornings cyberman update still stuck in Flat Rock.
  11. When your able to check > Thanks ! VIN Number: 3LN6L2LU5DR807868
  12. So anyone know what this update means ? In Transit - Delay- Miscellaneous Transit Delay (Auto Warehousing ) Flat Rock, MI Mar-18-2013, 18:01 ET.
  13. When your able to check > Thanks ! VIN Number: 3LN6L2LU5DR807868
  14. I am sure they are different however our dealer was once the deal was done I had to called to get updates, then he called back. At one point he told me he could only tell me once the car was built, and once it was delivered which made him pretty useless. So in mind I could have ordered the car on line, handled the price and deposit over the phone and got the same service. I even asked for a call once a week just to touch base - Sure he said but it will be the same each week as I already told you the only info I would know. Once even told me I should call Lincoln every day for an update until they can tell me something - I called to give him the news we had a VIN, Window Sticker, build date, shipped out of Mexico, in Flat Rock > yep he is useless to me in this deal
  15. Now as cars are stating to show up I wanted to see what folks are going to do about the survey I hear they expect perfect scores on when picking up the car. I heard from a guy that purchased a mustang and when picking up, even after he told the salesperson it would not be a good review they then asked "what can we do to get a perfect score from you" Also I was told my Lincoln CS they would rebate me one months payment amount once I pick up the car - I wonder if they will really do it since it was on a call , not in writing As it stands for me I see almost zero reasons to give them a score anywhere close to perfect
  16. Same with building it by order date. My was Aug 18th, 2012 so if that applied I would be driving it by now too. Even with that is is nice to see something coming out of Flat Rock
  17. Wow, that looks sharp ! We have the red coming in one day and now I am thinking about tint too. Who did it for you - By the way we used to live in PHX, actually in Surprise and our middle one who will be getting the old KIA once the new car is in lives in Scottsdale now - We will be out there around Memorial week this year -
  18. I wonder if it is the fact of the car was not supposed to go up there. I think they build Mustangs, maybe others. Here is where a supply chain does get messed up > doing something out of the norm on short notice. We also looked at the ES and it drove nice and has good name recognition however it just did not have wow factor for the extra 5K over the MKZ. We put 2K on the MKZ and paying cash when it gets in so frankly at this point we have nothing to lose as our current cars are both paid for and running great. It is just the fact this started out being a Christmas gift for my wife, then Valentines gift, then birthday gift, now maybe if I am lucky it can be delivered by the Easter Bunny (LOL) - One thing is for sure she is getting tired of not having a gift from me the last few holidays !
  19. I hope your car is at the dealer but it is kind of funny (not really) that at one point your car was still on ramp 54 in Mexico and mine was in Flat Rock at the same time. I guess sending to Flat Rock did not speed up the process for me a bit, as it is still there.
  20. Your missing the point on this completely in my opinion. Yes it is a big supply chain and stuff happens however a salesperson who sold a car to me and few others, not a million could pick up the phone a call in once a week with an update. Instead I have to track my car on a message board ( no offense to anyone here ) , call him when I get a VIN, when it ships, where it is , etc. Building or rebuilding a brand starts with solid customer service to achieve the ultimate customer service experience, not about putting push button or some sort of leaves on the display. Every car maker could do that . Until Lincoln gets this they will remain at or near the bottom regardless of new models or money Ford dumps in
  21. So who and what is their contact info ? I have a salesperson who tells me to call Lincoln "every day" so really no use and now Lincoln seems to went back to the old type customer service playbook by giving the customer such low expectations on results they are bound to beat it - Not sure where to turn now. I can not imagine a company the size of Ford that has no inventory management system to let me know where my car is - I guess things happen at Ford by PFM ( Pure F Magic) If this is the new Lincoln I would think in 5 years they will be gone or in the bottom of sales bleeding cash from Ford. So worried about the car and design I think they blew the most important part of building a brand, the customer experience. Frankly we can train monkeys and machines to build a car, pretty much take off the name plate and they are all the same in concept. What distinguishes you is the experience during the process - Just like buying anything else you shop where you feel your treated right
  22. Hate tell you this but our car was up there about the same time as you. Well today while speaking to Lincoln and we spoke to the person just above the person you normally get and they told my wife 8-10 weeks to get through inspections. This makes no sense to us but that was what we were told about 3 mins ago. I did not speak to them but my wife is hot over this one
