  1. The Ford service department has upgraded the software and swapped the microphone from another Focus during testing and still no resolution. Now, they believe it's in the wiring of the sync inside the car.
  2. Hello, I just had a question regarding the Sync system in your Focus. My girlfriend and I just purchased new 2013 Ford's. I got an Escape and she got a Focus. Now, it's been three months and she has had nothing but problems with her Sync microphone. We have brought it in to the dealership repeatedly, but no resolution yet. Basically when she is using her phone via bluetooth through Sync there is a ton of road noise and when she speaks her voice is distorted. Ford's fix thus far is putting a huge amount of foam up in the compartment where the microphone is, but this is a bust. Is anyone else experiencing these issues and if so how did you resolve it? She is getting really fustrated with the situation not being able to use Sync for what it is intended. Thanks for your time and consideration. -Zac
  3. First of all sorry about your Escape issues man. I hope nothing to serious is wrong with it, but I do hope they find out what is going on with it. Secondly, from what I have been reading AppLink hasn't been released for the 2013 Escape nor the MFT for that matter. You can use Bluetooth Stereo and stream your Pandora through MFT, but it won't function like you see on the AppLink advertisements for the Fiesta. When you car is connected to Sync hit the sync voice button and say Bluetooth Stereo. If you have Pandora running on your phone it should automatically pick it up and display the meta-tags on your MFT and also giving you the ability to skip tracks. Hope that helps...
