Everything is legal until you get caught!!! In FL, these would be considered illegal but it is accepted as the norm here. I've never had any problems with tint.

Folks, When you find an accessory for our 2013 MKZ, please add it here with a link. I'll start it off as I just ordered these: WeatherTech Digitalfit floorliners ... comes in Black or Tan and are made for front and rear areas. If I remember there are 2 button by the light switch that control the brightness of the dash...one brightens and the other dims.

Got it tinted ... went with Pinnacle Forumla 1 (5% sides and back and 50% on the windshield)

It almost didn't happen yesterday. My dealer sends me a screen shot showing the latest status (it's been with Allied Systems trucking since 2 April) and it stated an ETA is today (6 April). I call the dealer to find out what's going on and suggested they call Allied Systems to see when they plan on delivering it to them. I hung up, waiting for 2 minutes (impatient), and called myself. Allied System rep told me the car will NOT be delivered this week / weekend and WILL be delivered early next week. Here we go again.... I called the dealer, told them what I found out, and to fix this situation so I can pick it up either Friday or Saturday morning. Long story short, they sent my salesperson to Allied Systems to pick it up (ONLY 7 MILES AWAY!!!). Anyway, if I would not have called, I would not have our car in the driveway right now. So to answer your question, once it was all over and we were finally leaving, the big smile on my wife's face while driving and the "Thank You" I got from her made it worth it to me. Only one thing that caught my eye was the hood alignment. It seems there is a larger gap on the driver’s side vs. the passenger’s side. I looked at 10 other MKZ (yes, they have that many on the lot) and it seems to be a repetitious pattern. I'm still going to have them look at it and see if they can balance it out more. Also, tint goes on today as my wife states, "It looks like an old man's car without the windows tinted" ...LOL.

And here it is .... finally. Tomorrow have an appointment to get all windows tinted so new pics coming tomorrow.

My case is now closed ... went to picked it up at 5:30 pm and finally drove off the lot at 8:30 pm. I'll load up some pics in the right area.

I'm Chelsea's oldest file to monitor and she will be glad when my file is completed. Yes, she has been great and took my Lincoln bitching/bashing like a champ. I probably made her drink more after talking with me.

Well this painstaking adventure is almost over as our car should be arriving in Tampa via CSX between 1-2 pm. Then it will be trucked over to the dealer which averages about 2-3 days (for 15 miles). So hopefully we will have it in our garage this Friday/Saturday as long as there is nothing wrong with the car. All I want is a nice ending to this horror story.

Those last few days are hard???? I think the last 1 1/2 months has been hard since arriving in Flat Rock on Feb 20. The funny part is that if you look at the very beginning (page 1), out of those folks listed, I think I was first built and first shipped out. Now, I'll probably be the last one of the pack.

Please don't fall over or faint but: Our car has been loaded on CSX ETTX802960 railcar and heads out tonight leaving New Boston, MI. Right now it is scheduled to get into Tampa on April 3rd. So if all goes right, we should be in it next weekend

It's been so long since I got it, I can't rememeber where I placed it due to waiting for the car to arrive.

So then I can assume that Ford/Lincoln's Research and Development (R&D) sucks since this is where most, if not all of these problems should have been detected and fixed. I think they were too much in a hurry to get it on the market and produced a 70% solution. That's for the build, but there is not one damn excuse as to why they can't ship out a frick'n car upon completing the inspection. They bold faced lied when they stated to speed up the delivery process, they will ship them out via trucks; cars are still shipped out via slow @ss trains. Even Mr. Cour stated my car will ship out this week; it is now going on Thursday and my car is still stuck on the ramp in Flat Rock. Ok, he was right, it shipped out to the frick'n ramp! In my eyes, Lincoln has completely failed and I hope they clean house starting with leadership/management.

I understand and with you on this as I'm buying this car, but I told my wife this will be the last Ford/Lincoln product I will purchase. I swap out cars every 2 years, so they just lost out on my business for hopefully the next 50-60 years. I know I'm just a small fish in the ocean so no skin off their backs.
