Coltyn7, Congrats and just curious if you ordered a pano roof? BTW, it went by rail so talk about some BS that Lincoln plans on shipping pre-orders via truck to speed up the process. Also, I guess first in, first out doesn't apply at all to Lincoln either. If it wasn't for my wife wanting to "try and go greener" when it comes to gas prices/MPG, I'd probably have another car in my garage right now.

Glad I live in FL ... they don't enforce their own tint law. Anyway, I also use a ceramic Formula 1 (LLumar Pinnacle Series); I go 5% all the way around and 75-85% UV shield on the front window; yes I even tint the front window. I'm right with you as mine reach Flat Rock 5 days earlier than yours. What scares me is maybe something went really bad (like they wreck it), and now they are putting it back together; just can't image why our cars have been there for this long.

Not sure if we can believe anything that these people tell us anymore and your right, it really doesn't make sense. Prior to ordering this car, I had a Fusion Hybrid ordered and it sat up there for a month before arriving at the dealer. I bet you our cars will come with that window sticker with XXX miles on it stating it was randomly selected to go through the intense inspection.

As of today .. .3 weeks at Flat Rock and counting; arrived 20 Feb. Still no updates in the system and a higher level of support continue to state it is still there.

That's the first thing I told my dealer .. no sticker/badges on it and also make sure you do NOT mount the front license plate or you will buy me a new bumper.

Tanner, I have no frick'n idea where the hell our car is. My dealer's GM called today to let me know that according to the system, our car is still at Flat Rock going through final inspection and they put a rush on it to get it here ASAP!. We told him his own sales manager stated on 1 March (Friday), they received an email from Lincoln stating my car was release from Flat Rock and will be loaded on a truck heading here. Last Friday (8 March), the dealer received their 3 MKZs they had on order in which they received the email from Lincoln 3 days before they received mine. So I figure 10 days to get here based on their 3 MKZs. Well, today is my 10 days and still no car; still thinks it is in Flat Rock. I am a pretty patient, calm-collected kind of guy and understand sh!t happens, but now I'm about to loose my cool. I'm about to say screw the car, screw Lincoln, and go back to German-made engineering. I'll give Lincoln until Friday to get my car in, or I will probably walk away; which is what the dealer wants me to do due to the the price I negotiated.

And they also have the ability to bump up 2% on a lease to increase their profitability. I have decided not to lease anyway for a couple of reasons: 1. I had a feeling the dealer was padding the interest rate and it seems I was correct with Mark's info. 2. Leasing is unregulated so they do not have to share residual/interest rates with us. 3. I got 1.74% interest rate for 60 months through Pentagon Federal. -- My negotiated price plus the total interest is less than our car's MSRP ... no brainer to purchase over lease.

Mark, Thanks for the information but with your info, it seems they were trying to charge me an extra 1% to increase their profitability. Orlando is 4.5% and they were quoting me 5.5% in Tampa.

My dealer got an email from Lincoln stating my car's final inspection was complete and should be ready for shipment last Friday.

20 Feb it arrived

Mine completed inspection and left Friday. Dealer expects it in within by the weekend

Mark or anyone else, Can someone post the latest lease info (Residuals, and Money Factor); I heard it just changed as of 1 March. Info I received for a HYBRID: 2 year / 10.5K mi Residual: 70% APR: 5.5% or .00229166 Money Factor

Dealer stated they got an email stating my car either left/or about to leave yesterday so they expect it sometime this week.

That sounds like great news, now I wish mine never reached Flat Rock...LOLOL. If you are calling directly to the Railroads, I think they are pretty much up to date and accurate, can't see them being 2 days slow. Now calling Lincoln is a different story.
