  1. I had the same issue in my 2017 Lincoln MKZ. A very cheap and flimsy latch. Dealer did have to order a new console.
  2. The base models are lacking many of the things I have in my Fusion. I would not expect this for a luxury car. To get everything I have in my 2013 Fusion, i would have to spend upwards of 60K. And an 8" screen for navigation, etc. What were they thinking?
  3. Hallelujah! I was ready to give up on my car.
  4. The first thing we need is for Ford to acknowledge there is a problem, which I don't think they have done.
  5. I wonder if there is anything we can do to get Ford's attention? Does it help to contact Trina or whoever at Ford? This is worse than any MPG issue as far as I'm concerned. It sours the whole car new car experience. I spent 35,000 on a stink machine. Instead of sparky, I may have to rename stinky.
  6. Is this something that would be covered under warranty?
  7. Has anybody had ths issue fixed? My A/C stinks up the car for a few seconds at startup. I have never experienced anything like this in any other car. It seems to be getting worse.
  8. I agree that the Fusion is hard to get in and out of, even with the easy access function. It all goes back to ergonomics. I don't think much thought was given to this, And although I love the look and the finishes in the Fusion, i do think they need to go back to the drawing board where some of these issues are concerned.
  9. They aren't buying very many Fusion Energi's either. You have to have trunk space and a reasonable premium.
  10. I would like to see better cabin ergonomics. Center console is to far back. Window power buttons are to far forward. Cup holders are nice but awkwardly placed. Would also like a coin tray that is easily accessible and more storage nooks in general.
  11. Thanks for the pictures. That's a lot brighter than my Fusion
  12. 47/47 is unrealistic for most people in the real world. Everybody's commutes are different, and that plays a big part in the mileage you will get. There are other factors such as terrain, weather, trip length, etc, and they all play a role. That being said, the car is capable of delivering great city mileage. Highway mileage, it is really not possible to come close to the 47 unless you are willing to drive at 60 MPH, and then you might come close.
  13. A larger gas tank would also be welcome. 13.5 is way too small
  14. I like your list. I also agree that build quality issues need some attention. Why is it so hard for trunk and other parts of the car to align? Also they can do a better job of providing mileage feedback. Tank average should be computed automatically. There should be no need to set a trip computer for this. Current trip MPG should be updated real time, not just displayed at the end of the trip. There should be better graphics for those that have MFT. Why not take advantage of that 8" screen for those that paid for it and provide some nice mileage graphs? My 7 year old Camry Hybrid did all of the above. There's no reason for the Fusion not to.
  15. How much did you pay? They wanted 450, but settled on 400. I wonder if I could have done better on price if I shopped around.
