  1. Wow, I haven't signed on the forums in a few weeks and signed in today to specifically ask if anyone else had this problem, and here is this thread on the front page so I didn't even have to search. Chalk me up as another owner who suffers from this exact problem. I suppose I should take the car to the dealer so that we get another "vote" to fix this problem?
  2. I've owned mine for only a month and it has happened twice already. The first time it happened I was using NAV and the NAV screen froze up and I missed a turn. I had to pull over and wait for my car to start working again. I brought the car to my dealer and, like a poster said above, they said this is normal. If this is normal then no amount of warranty or extended warranty will offer anybody any comfort.
  3. I do not have the Titanium. Here is what my center cluster, below the MFT looks like.
  4. I don't recall seeing the Source button. It sounds like what I would want. Is it available on all of the MFT screens? If so, great. I'm not sure what "Center Stack" is, I apologize.
  5. You are assuming we are always on the entertainment screen, which many of us will not be. I'm not sure what you are implying in your last statement. This is legitimate feedback. If there is an easier way, perhaps many will be happy to discover it.
  6. Well, you may not be missing anything for how you enjoy the sound system, but for me it is missing a very basic simplicity. In addition to what Sarcastic6 said involving distraction, I use the sound system as follows. 1. Hear a song that I don't want to hear, change change the channel. 2. Hear another song I don't want to hear, change the channel. (etc) 3. Finished with these presets? Yep, hit the media button and cycle through the next. 4. Finished with those? Yep, hit the media button and cycle to the next set of presets (perhaps it's FM). 5. Continue in this fashion until I hear something I want, regardless of the source. There are at least three one-step ways to change the station (1. The preset buttons on the stearing wheel, 2. The CD buttons on the dash, 3. The tuner knob.) but not a single one-step way to cycle through the media. I would argue that the media button would probably be one of the top buttons to be used in the car when it's in motion. By posting this I was hoping that someone would point out that I was missing something simple. One could always hope that a software update might allow you to somehow use the quad button on the right side to do this in one step.
  7. I picked up the 2013 FFH last week and have a question about the presets. Is there an easier way to cycle through the group of presets without hitting the entertainment button on the touch screen and then hitting the preset group on that same screen? For example, if I am on group 1 of the Sirius presets and want to switch to group 2, I'd like to do it in one step if possible. On both my Toyota and Honda this option is on the steering wheel and there is also a physical button, so either way it can be done in one step. I've read through the manual and do not see any other way than using several steps on the MyTouch screen.
  8. I picked it up tonight. My menu does have a remote start section. I recall seeing a run time duration and quiet start as well as other options. I think there were a bunch of climate control options.
  9. My car was delivered to the dealership but I probably won't pick it up until Friday. I bought the Ford remote start, so I'll check on this for you some time after I pick it up. If you learn anything, please post it here.
  10. Thanks for the heads up! May I have an update, please? F16201 / A011 3FA6P0LU1DR246393
  11. I think we are going to have twins! I've ordered the identical color and configuration that you have and my status is identical to yours. I wonder how closely our VINs match!
  12. Would you be so kind as to provide a status for me? My dealer said they have no information. I ordered it on 12/31/12. Features: Bordeaux Reserve, Ash Leather, Power Moonroof, Heated Seats, Navigation, Remote Start, Reverse Camera. Order number: 16L201 POL A011 Dealer Code: 16L201 They said Ford hasn't given them a VIN yet.
  13. If you want to know the answer then head over to Reddit. The guy from the commercial popped onto that site and posted proof it was him and then answered some questions! Here's the link to his thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/1750mk/i_got_on_a_commercial_after_buying_a_new_ford/
