    Check earlier posting galangg, I went over it fairly well, had my wife along with me, which is good because she is much more detailed focused than I am. Two big black tar spots, various dirt spots, missing seat bolt cover, etc... Now similar to XG they whisked it back to the detail shop and made things right but it really does take away from the luxury new car experience. Unfortunately these guys are not going to get a great rating on their survey.

    AZ has a law on how dark the front windows can be, so those are not tinted as dark but they are tinted. You should drop me a email Bill when your out, would love to see your car in person if your driving!!

    Morning SMSGT, actually just getting it put on as we speak since I am having the windows tinted I asked the guy if he would also apply this to the MLT screen. I will send a pic when they are done. Did you call Kevin like I suggested to follow up on your car?

    Yep, I am loving every minute of it too... In fact probably to much as I got it last Monday and I already have over 300 miles on it!!! XG/SMSGT you are really going to love this car I know that!!! I know it doesn't help with the frustrations, but if you can stick it out, it will be worth it!!

    XG, so there is absolutely a schedule that those car haulers use to pick up cars from the rail road depot. One other thing that I learned. So just because the car arrived at the depot, does not mean it has been unloaded. The best way to follow that is to continue to check on your railcar with CSX. When you hear the status empty/released, then you know your car has been unloaded and is on the lot. From that point in time, expect about a two day delay in getting the car to your dealership plus travel time depending on where the rail road depot is at.

    Thanks Serraph, yep now I remember now. Although all those cans come with a tube of some sort to get the sealant into the tire don't they?

    Very nice, clear and bright. I was initially worried but the headlights work very well.!! I love the little LED accent lights below the headlamps in the bumper facia, really is distinct.

    So when you say you have to replace it, surely you just mean the can of tire sealant that I can pick up from Pep Boys for like 12 bucks right?

    Ok guys, for those of you that ordered a hybrid, I am sure you know by now that the car does not come with a donut, but instead with a small air compressor and a can of tire sealant. Here is the question. As I was flipping through the various settings in the left hand screen, I noticed that there was a particular screen on this tire compressor/sealant. Why do you think that is there? As many times as Serraph has read the owners manual probably has this answer memorized?? Come on Serraph hit me with it!!

    Ok so update the car has since stopped sounding strange when stopped. So that is good. Interesting though is the sound when you start the car. There is a real loud whirring sound as I sit in the car and put my seat belt on but then stops or at least I can't hear it when I start driving

    Suggest you watch the You tube videos available from the Lincoln Owner site. They do a good job of going through each instrumentation cluster much better than I could do. So my understanding and I could be wrong is that the on the non hybrid cars, there is a speedometer and a tach and in between there is a configurable screen with a variety of settings I thought?

    Ok, this topic is only about the MKZ Hybrid 2013. For those that have taken delivery I have a question. I have noticed when sitting at a light running on EV, and all climate, radio, nav off I am hearing some weird whirring noises. Can you guys try this out and see if you hear anything at all. I would hate to have to take this back to the dealership 1 day after getting it!!!

    Dont call LCS, they are about the worst thing you can do. Never were helpful and never had the answer. 1st off demand your dealership looks at their Vehicle Tracking System and provides you with the Primary and Secondary status. Once you have that tell them you want updates every week(if not more, I had every day). If you are confused about the status, post on this forum and we will try to help you. Thats my two cents.

    Mark can correct me but I think unit sent to production means that the order has been sent to the line and scheduled to a day. So you should already have a build DAY and that should coincide with the schedule.
