Any help decrypting this latest update of mine? Awaiting Shipment - Returned from Offsite - 40-39i (Allied Systems Ltd ) Ford Hermosillo Assembly, SO Mar-01-2013, 00:21 MT. Specifically the "40-39i (Allied Systems Ltd )", and "SO" portions .... does this mean it came back from a Flatrock inspection point? John

Keep something in mind folks (and this is not to disparage any particular dealership) .... but once you get a vehicle order confirmation sheet from the dealer .... you can always call LCS (800-521-4140) directly and provide the "Dealer" id and the "OrderNo" and they can tell you wether a VIN was assigned yet or not .... In my case - my dealership didn't know and or wasn't notified that a VIN had been assigned to my car (let alone that it had already gone to production) (despite the fact that dealership told me that they would be the first ones to know) It looks like Lincoln has a major disconnect with their dealerships and communication of custom orders John

So - here begins my personal "end game" .... contacted LCS today (directly) about my custom order that was placed three weeks ago ... surprised (1) that they did have a VIN, surprised (2) that the car was finishing production today and that (3) it has an ETA of MArch 11th .... Now how close to that March 11th date we really are ..... who knows ..... but not too bad for a car that was only put into the order system on Feb 5th! Dedonut - I absolutely hate the wheels on the 203A package ( i think those are the ones you are talking about ) .... so in my case I opted to not get 203A because I hated the wheels ... would have gladly payed for every other option in the 203A if I could have scrapped the tires and kept the standard 18 inch ones Re: the split-wing grille ..... I used to think that I didn't like 2011-2012 grille because the previous Zs looked a little less stylish (IMHO) but now I wonder wether it was the 2011-2012 grille or every other aspect of the previous model that contributed to my perception of style ...... the new grille is not what makes me excited about this car's exterior styling, it's the lines on the sides, roof line and the integrated-dual exhausts. John

I'll be curious if anyone has taken a hard look at this .... I'm wondering wether heavy usage of the adaptive cruise control is needed to get close to the Ford advertised MPG ratings ....

Best of luck with this ..... before I ordered the MKZ, both my children wanted me to go with the Ruby Red Fusion ...... :-) it does look great (especially in the snow) .......
