I also found a screen protector that works with the resistive touch panel used with MFT you can order it from NuShield. Just select ford under the "Select Brand" drop down and then select "'13 Escape" under the "Specify a Model" drop down. They offer two films one is supposed to help with glare and the other is supposed to be antimicrobial. I purchased the film that is supposed to help with glare. It definitely increases the amount of glare over not having a film installed; however, at least I don't have to worry about scratching the screen. The trade off for protection is worth a little extra glare IMO.

The best mobile app for traffic IMO is Waze and it will also show you local fuel prices along with a bunch of other great free features; however, the fuel price feature must be unlocked by using the app while driving the prescribed distance set by the developers. Sirius is definitely lacking in those two departments, not to mention others. GasBuddy will definitely do the trick for fuel prices alone. I wish that ford had adopted something a little more along the line of Pioneer's AppRadio its such a great system and provides a user with choice.

Just as long as you keep proper records. Use an app on your phone that will allow you to keep copies of the receipts and record mileage as well. You can use an app aimed for tracking automotive maintenance, or even something as simple as Evernote. I personally like the latter of the two due to the fact that it's a simple interface with the ability to attach photos to my notes. I also keep hard copies of all of the receipts in a folder in my filing cabinet just in case. I always prefer to do my own maintenance simply because I don't always know the person(s) working on my vehicle.
