  1. Yahoo!!!! Found out my car will enter shipping May 15th (Or so they say), and I should be able to take delivery 10 days later (Again, or so they say). It sure would have been nice to ask on this forum to check the status but, I guess those of us who tend not to have alot to say (or post in this case), are locked out of asking the questions. Sure would have been nice to get the actual build date. Just curious if it's a Tuesday through Thursday car or one of those next to a weekend. Still, pretty stoked to know it's closer to being delivered. CocoaBob
  2. Well David, I realize this was started back in January but I thought I would respond as I'm on Florida's East Coast as well. I have had SVT/ST vehicles since 1999 (SVT Contour/Focus), and all I have to say is this ST is great. If you enjoy and can tolerate Idiosyncrasies’ of a high power front driver, you will enjoy the FFST. I drove a few other cars prior to getting this just because I knew the automotive press would pair them up in comparison testing. VW GTI, Dadge Dart, etc.... Again, this is no Evo or STi as it is only front wheel drive. I'll put it this way, I was in Germany a few years ago and had an opportunity to drive an ST on the Autobohn and I was sold. I just had to wait til Ford brought it to the U.S. I was going to have one some way. If I had to import one I would have. Yes....you can say I like my ST CocoaBob
  3. Akirby, Weight and fuel economy......Hmm.... Hadn't really considered the additional half pound would have such a large effect on the rolling resistance of a "green tire" vs. a lower profile quasi performance tire. Which would be probably the same over all weight when all is said and done. You're probably on the right track though. I Wish the wifes Hybrid Ti would come with the rear facia your Ti has. Cheers, and thanks for the input. CocoaBob
  4. After driving the SE and the Ti, I could care less about the color of the seat. I prefer the additional bolstering in the Ti seat over the lounge chair feel of the SE. I've had numerous colors of interior here in Florida and it makes no difference what color they are, If it's hot, it's hot. put up a windshield shade, close the sunroof shade, crack the windows a pinch and deal. I'm anal about cleaning so that's not an issue with me either. I can see how some people find it an inconvenience for maintaining, but heat....That's Just Bunk! It's A New Car....I'm Sure It's Airconditioned!
  5. Agreed with above. Heck my Focus ST has them. My wifes 06 Lincoln has them. I'm not sure she is going to like going back to "old school" lamps.
  6. I sure wish the Fusion Hybrid Ti had the Dark Stainless Painted H Spoke Wheels as an option for the wifes Ruby Red we have on order. Does anyone know why a 19 inch wheel is not an option for the FHTi? Is it because of a "Green TIre" is not available in 19 inch or what?

    Hello to all

Hello everyone. I've been a Ford nut for a lot of years. As you all can see, I have a 04 F150 extended cab 4x4, an 06 Lincoln Zephyr, and a 13 Focus ST (ST3 pkg). [i had to get something to replace my Contour SVT]. I am replacing the wifes Lincoln with a Fusion Hybrid Titanium in Ruby Red. We ordered it in February and were hopeing for it to be built this week but, it looks like it may be next week. Can't wait to see it. I'm looking forward to looking around the site. Cheers......CocoaBob
  8. I enjoy My TS ST3 pkg. I have 6200 Miles on it, and it runs like a top. It pulled more than advertised as far as Hp and Torque.....Much more, and I have not modified it in any way. Other than window tint and brake caliper paint.
  9. So does anyone actually know what the hold up on production was. I'm just curious. When I pre-ordered my Focus ST last year I was at least given a reason (headlight bucket issue). I have not seen anything other than TBD for my wifes Fusion Hybrid Titanium. I have a VIN assigned etc... But I have to have 10 Entries in threads before I can run a tracker. I was told by the dealer as of the 5th that the build week was to be this week (15 April). When I contacted him yesterday to see if a Day was assigned for this week I was told build week moved to next week. Oh well, US Air Force tought me to hurry up and wait. :-)
