  1. Yeah, I get there's going to be some leaking in the cabin as it's not air tight. That being said, it feels like I have the AC on when I turn the heat off because of the draft that comes through. When I make a turn, it's extremely noticable. How did you go about initiating? Just call in to the service department and describe the issue you're having? My problem is the dealership near me is not the one I bought my vehicle from, I went to a competitor 30 miles away. There won't be any issue having my warranty done here will it?
  2. I noticed this a bit when I first got the car in June of 2013. There was a slight audible wind noise, as if a window was slightly rolled down. Now that it's below freezing, I've noticed it quite a bit more. I also have noticed quite a draft in the cabin when I turn the heat off. Especiallly when I make a turn. Anyone experience anything like this? Do I just contact the dealership to set up a time to have it looked at? Never had to deal with a vehicle warranty issue in the past. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Curious what others have used and/or recommend to clean their 19" H Spoke Rims?

    Odd noise

Now I'm noticing a very loud kind of droning noise when I accelerate that I've never heard before. Time to set up a service appointment.

    Odd noise

I've gotten an odd noise when starting my Fusion. It sounds like it's coming from the rear underside of the vehicle, and it sounds kind of like the flexing sound you'll hear from air ducts when you start a furnace (not sure if anyone's heard this before, lol). Kind of like a soft metal getting warm and flexing, I guess? I suppose it could be the exhaust, but it's very warm outside, and it doesn't seem to happen every start up. I noticed it a few days ago, and this morning. I'm going to start noting when I hear this so I have a record. Anyone experience anything like this?
  6. Meh. I'll see if my Monster laptop screen cleaning kit will do the trick when I get home. I was hoping for something I could slap together at work. That damn blue cloth... Edit: I got the Dayvue instead of the AAA. I'm hoping it will minimize fingerprints just as much.
  7. Any suggestions for cleaning the mytouch screen on the Titanium prior to installing the screen protector? I just got mine and read the instructions, went out to the car to wipe down the screen with the included blue Ford cloth, and found that it's leaving little blue specks of lint on the screen and I'd imagine this would not work well with the screen protector.
  8. Had the shudder happen this morning and thought of this thread. Thought to myself, "Damnit". Switching from R to D after backing out of my parking space this morning at home. Will be keeping an eye on this thread.
  9. I just got the windows tinted, 35% Solar Guard galaxy tint all around. Ordered the weather tec floor mats and the nushield screen protector. I'm curious what cleaning products would be suggested? I don't have a pressure washer to use, so I'll be using a regular hose/bucket when the time comes.
  10. DA5T-14D546-AF appears to be the latest. I don't have it on my new purchase, and I specifically asked the dealer to make sure any updates were taken care of before I picked the car as I had seen this thread. Guess I'll have to make a trip to the dealer soon.
  11. Nope the spoiler is on there. Those are just bad pictures for it. I can understand not wanting the AWD. Where I'm at in the northeast, snow and ice can be an issue. Also, the titanium feels like a sports car to me. Maybe it's just my always driving a Corolla, but the 2.0 feels strong to me.
  12. The options I got were Moonroof, Navigation and the H spoke rims. I'm glad I got all 3. I didn't think I'd use the navigation at all but it's actually not bad, although kind of sluggish at times. I'm slowly adjusting to the voice controls. They're pretty handy. I kind of wish I had gotten adaptive cruise control. I was just on the highway using cruise control and realized how nice it would have been. You'll be very happy with your purchase. I kind of wish I had went for AWD but I'm content with my Titanium as is.
  13. Yeah I saw that site, nothing remotely close. I don't know what she's talking about or how they filled my car as there's nothing within 200 miles of their dealership that has it. I can't believe I would need to not have ethanol. That would be next to impossible to do.
  14. When I purchased my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium, the sales woman instructed me to not put ethanol in my vehicle. Is this accurate? If so, where can I get it? I can't find any stations that don't use it.
  15. Yeah there's clearance, but barely lol. In my apartment parking lot the clearance on the sidewalk varies space by space. There are some spots I get nowhere near it. I'm used to driving my better half's Corolla, it's a bit of a size adjustment.
  16. My new 2013 Ford Fusion TItanium - Black.
  17. I just bought it last night. I'll have pictures up in a bit. I noticed a kind of "lit match" smell after I would accelerate kind of hard. I can't tell if it was from something else or my new vehicle. I'm going to try and see if it happens again today, I only smelled it once or twice. Anyone notice anything like this? Already had trim on the door "pop up". The black piano finish where the hand pull is, below the door handle, had popped up. Firmly pushed down and it seemed to snap into place. Otherwise, I'm beyond happy!
  18. Then the other dealership 20 miles away from me didn't include the same fee. I also asked the sales manager (the one that said I was wrong about edmunds) if they were including the ad fee or gas in the invoice price they were quoting me, and they said no they were not. That it was just the invoice cost of the vehicle and MSRP. After signing all of the papers I was chatting with the woman that sold me my car. I told her about what had happened with the invoice pricing. She implied the sales person was lying or altered the invoice in some fashion. She also said it's impossible for people to get over on customers now a days, and some sales people get frustrated and just lie. She said that what she gave me was a little over invoice, and there's no way another dealer 20 miles down the same road had an invoice for more than $500 what they paid. She had nothing to gain, I had finished signing the papers and we were shooting the shit before I left. So I was being lied to in one shape or form.
  19. @RRF - I was thinking the same thing. I told the sales person if I come up there and they try to bait and switch me, I'd walk out in a heart beat. I told her I have plenty of competitive offers all over the state, that she was the fastest and the CURRENT lowest, so she got the sale. I hope they don't try to pull any shit tonight, because the check I got from my bank is for the EXACT amount on the purchase order they faxed. And I'll trash their dealership all over the net. They actually have extremely good reviews online, so I'm not expecting there to be an issue. I'm like a kid on Christmas night right now. I can't wait to get out of work, pick up my better half, and make my way up north to pick it up!
  20. Quite the line formed to rain on my parade
  21. There is a sub forum above this Fusion one on the Blue Oval Forums, way up at the top of them all, that is for finding vehicles shipped. It's called "Vehicle Locator By Ford Employees". There are rules, so check on those first before posting, but if you provide your VIN, within a day or so someone will give you an update for where your car is on the train. Be sure to read the rules very carefully. And congrats on the Titanium! I'm picking my Black Titanium up this evening with 0 miles! It's a beautiful car!
  22. I had trouble using my coupon. I had the salesperson check VinCent (this was all done through email FYI) and she claimed it was there. I asked her, literally, 5 times via email - in different ways. Just to make absolutely sure. Then it came to getting the purchase order for my lender to write the check (they don't cut blank checks). The salesperson couldn't do this, so the finance manager was put in charge of getting this together and faxing to my lender. 2 attempted faxes later, I requested it to be emailed. Never got it. Requested again, never got it. Called up audibly annoyed, Requested it to be faxed to me, and I'd go sit by the fax. Reluctantly, he sent it to me, and the numbers were off...he didn't include ANY rebates. Called him back, insisted he include rebates, and I started getting push back on the $750 coupon. I was told the entire time I didn't need a physical copy, as it was displaying in Vincent. He said it would make it much easier to use if I had a physical copy. LUCKY FOR ME, it came via email as a result of the brochers I had sent to my email. Took about 2-3 weeks to show up. Gave him the codes on it, he put them on the purchase order, but requested it be printed and brought it. Just be VERY careful and explicit.
  23. I stand corrected. I thought it was + 0.4%. I should have just gotten an Xplan PIN. My deal wasn't bad though. $60 over Edmunds invoice. I'm curious why this other salesperson was telling me Edmunds invoice pricing was $500 lower than her invoice showed. If that's the case, I'm getting my Titanium for well under invoice. I had the dealership put together the purchase order for my credit union so my price is locked into place. 31,020 out the door. 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium with Navigation, H Spoke rims and Moonroof. This includes $1500 rebate and the $750 coupon. And it was just delivered to the dealer today, so it got put aside and will have 0 miles.
