I'd be happy with my DORA. I ordered a week ago, and still haven't got it. I'm calling tonight to see what's up.

Light grey? Awesome! I was going to deal with a beige interior so that I wouldn't have scorching hot black seats, but grey is so much better!

You've already got your DORA? I think my salesman is slow. I emailed him Monday because I realized I forgot to ask that my HyTi not have a spoiler on it (I hate spoilers, and you can request that it not have it)... and then again yesterday, when he didn't respond. Still nothing. If he doesn't respond today I suppose I'll have to call.

LATCH is only good up to a certain weight limit, and it is VERY possible to get a carseat with a higher limit than that. The Clek Foonf, for example, has a FIFTY pound REARFACING limit, and a SIXTY-FIVE pound limit front-facing. After that, you can get a five-point harness booster that is fullback up to ONE HUNDRED pounds. You definitely can't use the LATCH anchors that long. I'll be getting the Foonf for my new car, because it's one of the best seats on the market, with the highest rear-facing limit. Basically, Ford should have added in a measure to turn the airbags in the seatbelts off.

I wonder if one of the reasons they don't have a good tracking system is that if a person saw it on the Ford website, it might encourage them to order a specific car, rather than just buying off the lot. How big is the percentage of people that order, vs. the number who just buy one off the lot?

I definitely wish the 2014 had adaptive headlights. I was strongly considering the Mazda6, and that's the one thing I'm really going to miss on my new Fusion. I have to go around some really dark, twisty corners on my way to work at 5:30am, and adaptive headlights would be nice. I don't really need them as HID, just lighting up the corner. City stop. That's the other thing I'm going to miss from the Mazda, it would stop you at lower speeds if something pulled out in front of you.

I thought about it. I really like electric cars (I already have a 240V charger in my garage), but the fact that the battery almost completely takes over the trunk turned me off. I have a 7 month old baby... obviously, I haul a lot of stuff.

I just put in my order for the Fusion, and when I went to get my $750 coupon that I had received in a mail a few months ago, it had expired. I put in a request for another brochure on Thursday, but there wasn't a coupon in the system for me. Are they still doing the $750 coupons? I'm really hoping they are, the salesman said he'd give it to me if the coupon arrived before the car.

Placed my order today, too! The salesman said that it would arrive in the middle of November. I scoffed internally and expect it sometime in January-February.

Still no samples? I'm going to order my Fusion today and I didn't want it with the black interior... guess I better hope I like the medium soft ceramic!

Wait, does that say she won it in March? I guess she didn't like it as much as she thought she would. Maybe she never got the hang of driving a stick.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a new HyTi, but I'm torn between Sterling Grey and Ruby Red, both with the medium ceramic interior. I saw someone mention that the grey sometimes has paint issues, is that still true? Anyone have any suggestions one way or the other?

Maybe it's just my monitor, but... is that a PINK Shelby Mustang?

I'm thinking either Sterling Grey or red now, since I'm not getting the red interior. I wish Ford had a better blue for the Fusion, but I just don't like the way it looks with Deep Impact. A more slate-y blue would give it a real high-class look.

THAT's what red brick looks like? Ugh. Not a fan. Maybe I'll go with the medium ceramic after all.

The pictures of it on the Ford website look gorgeous, but when I google the red brick in other Ford interiors it looks very... tomato-y. If it looks like the interior on the website I'm interested, but if it doesn't, I guess I'll have to go for another option. Maybe medium soft ceramic, if it's not too dark beige?

When are we going to be able to put in an order for a 2014 Fusion Hybrid Titanium with the heated/cooled seats and a heated steering wheel? My dealership hasn't been any help, the salesman was claiming that the Fusion isn't going to have either of those and I should just order right now (uh huh, sure).
