  2. Part of the reason there are delays: http://www.autoblog.com/2014/05/21/180000-new-cars-sitting-waiting-for-trains/
  3. I just took my radio out and wanted to add a few comments to what clutchkillz posted. Firstly, I bought a set of pry tools. They are fiber reinforced plastic. I got mine at Harbor Freight. These tools really helped! I got the trim pieces removed thanks to clutchkillz tutorial and also the diagram of the parts posted on this forum. The black piece around the gearshift lever was fiddly, because the push in tabs had some sticky tape like washers around them. The 8mm screws referenced above, well mine turned out to be 7mm heads. Once I had removed those, I struggled for about 45 minutes trying to get the radio faceplate to release. It would barely move. I was concerned about snapping it in half. I kept going over the tutorial, going back into the house and looking on the computer for photos, back out to the car, back to the computer, etc. Eventually I found a photo of the backside of the faceplate, posted by a seller on ebay. That is what saved me. I could now see where the clips were, and I had to use the pry tool to get behind the faceplate and pop it out where the clips were. All the trim pieces removed, this is what you are faced with: Close-up of the locating holes for the trim behind the gearshift: I stared at this for a long time, wondering why it would not come off: Well eventually I did, and here is the back side. You can see four push tabs. Two at the very top were the biggest headache: This is what you see after pulling the face down: And then disconnecting the two harness plugs: After removing the two hex head screws from the CD/Radio and disconnecting the harness plugs, this is what you see: I used my flashlight and shined it under the center console in the footwell and found an open area I could put the LOC harness through: I used t-taps to connect the LOC wires to the front speaker wires at the harness plug: After reconnecting all the plugs and inserting the CD/Radio back into place I could tell there was plenty of space for the extra parts. I think the LOC could even fit behind it. All buttoned back up and still working. Yay!
