  1. For months it was rumored Ford would change the front and rear of the flex and change the interior up a bit but when I heard there were no major changes, I was disappointed. Is the flex nearing the end of its cycle and that's why Ford didn't change anything?
  2. Looks like we're going with a 2014 Max SE. To lease an SEL would run us 500 a month. He said the residual value is lower on the SEL. Thanks everyone for the help.
  3. So My wife was thinking of getting a 2014 Focus and when I test drove a 2012 model, I hated how it drove. Didn't like how it changed when accelerating and it was an Automatic. Has the 2014 model improved in Transmission Shifting?
  4. Kind of disappointing they are getting rid of Darkside and Sunset.
  5. I have the 2.5 L and average 29 mpg and that is 95% city driving. We have an Escape that has the EB and we barely average what they claim for the city. Heck my salesman said the 2.5 is just fine and he said that he sells more of Fusions with that engine in it than the Ecoboost engine. Test drive both and see which one you like better. The 2012 fusion 2.5L was bad but they seemed to improve it greatly in the new model.
  6. How do I find my built date of my 2014 Fusion??
  7. Contact Ford service on twitter. If you don't have an account, sign up just to speak with them. Explain the noise issue to them like you did to us and the problem the regional manager is giving you. They will assign you to a customer relations manager. Their job is to resolve your issue. I was given the option of turning the Escape in for the 2.0 liter model or being reimbursed a lease payment. I'm not sure if this will help but have you tried putting fuel cleaner in the tank after you fill up?
  8. Yes it is worth it. The S model has manual seats where as the SE has pwer driver standard and power windows.
  9. If you press menu scroll the presets with the arrow keys on the steering wheel , there may just be an option to get to snyc from there.
  10. http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync This is a master reset which should work. When you follow the link it will show you how to do a master reset.
  11. I'm driving a 2014 Fusion SE and I have not had the chance to drive it in the summer yet but I will report here when it's time to turn the AC on. I'm hoping there's not any bad smell. Is it only happen for a few mins or when the AC starts up?
  12. Contact Ford customer service. When our Escape was recalled they reimbursed me a lease payment. Ford will do something about it if people who are experiencing it keep mentioning it to them. Maybe enough complaints will issue recalls to fix these issues. What cabin noise are you experiencing? Sorry you're having issues, hopefully they will fix them and others who are having them.
  13. Follow the link i put in my original post, i found how to do a master reset which is probably the same way the dealership would do it.
  14. Go into bluetooth devices , add or delete devices and delete your iPhone 5 from the system. Then add it back in. Make sure your bluetooth is on before you do this so that it can find your phone easier. I Had to do this a few times with a 2012 model and 2014. If it won't do anything when you plug it in using your usb then check the inside of your middle charger port on the phone. There could be a lot of dust causing the bad connection. I just found how to reset your sync and this will save you the $100 and trip to the dealer. Here is the link http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync
  15. Yes, the suggestions may help. I will see if i can find the post that talks about the rattle noise. Thing is I do have the power driver seats just not leather seats.
