  1. I purchased my Focus at the end of March of this year and the notice I received from Ford is dated May 2012. I would think that the fix you are referring to from last year would have been incorporated in vehicles built after last summer. The program is called per the letter is Customer Satisfaction Program 12B37. If anyone has a better knowledge of this issue post up.
  2. Just received a letter from Ford for the transmission shifting issues on the 2012 Focus. The Customer Satisfaction Program #12B37 is supposed to address the above issues. Has anyone had the fix done? Has this cured the problems with this transmission? Will be taking mine in next week for the fix.
  3. Is the Boost Gauge on the 2011 Shelby GT 500 an electrical or mechanical gauge? I know my 2004 Cobra had a mechanical gauge but was wondering if this holds true on the 2011 Shelbys. Would be cheaper and easier install if it was mechanical.
  4. Yes, I guess all those UAW workers are under the illusion that Ford is making money hand over fist when in fact it is just barely keeping it's head above water. When will you guys ever learn that this is a whole new ballgame and that the rules of old do not apply. I guess when Ford is forced to out source more to remain competitive will the light bulb light up but by then it will be to late for the UAW workers that lose their jobs. Well I hope you enjoy the bed you made!
  5. My feelings also! Going on 5 months with my 08 MMH and so far trouble free. A few things I find could be improved on but don't you find that with any vehicle that there will be a few minor things not to your liking? No one builds a vehicle that pleases everyone 100% in all areas. Overall I think Ford has done a good job with these Hybrids.
  6. I have harped on this issue several times. Why does Ford keep spending money promoting Escape and Mariner Hybrids? These vehicles are not readily available at any dealer. I am hearing 3 to 6 month waits in many cases.
  7. Here is what I don't get! Ford just ran in the Detroit News today a Full Page Color Ad for the Escape Hybrid. There are none to be had around here. Mercury is still running ads on TV for the Mariner Hybrid. Same story here on the Mariner. None available! If what is being said an 8 month wait and have a cash deposit down before it can be ordered, Ford is wasting their ad monies on these hybrid vehicles that are not readily available. Go figure! They need to get their act together. These kind of tactics will only alienate prospective customers who think the can just go to a Ford or Mercury dealer and buy one and get it in a reasonable amount of time.
  8. What kind of MPG are you getting with your 2008 Hybrid? My 2008 4WD MMH is 2months old and has 2600 miles on it. I am getting 29 to 31 MPG in the city and 30 to 32 MPG on the highway. Are these the kind of gas mileages everyone else are getting? I am using fill up to fill up to calculate these numbers although the computer read out is within .3 to .4 of my figures. Just curious as the EPA gas MPG on this vehicle is 27 Highway and 29 City. Very pleased with these numbers. I just drive it like I have driven my other cars in other words I don't baby it nor do I hot rod it.
  9. I ordered a Mariner Hybrid on June 6th and it arrived at dealership on August 6th. It took almost 9 weeks to get. Hope you get yours soon.
