  1. I would have no issue pay resonable amount for a FORD created and supported upgrade kit. After paying almost $70k for truck not counting things I have added. I assume I will be keeping this truck for many years.
  2. Point made - but being a software engineering back porting would be lot of work and would not be done unless there was large demand for the software update. Personally OK with MFT works OK for me. But the new screen layout of the Sync 3 fixes the issue being able to find and hit buttons even when stopped (and of course we all stop to change settings )
  3. Yea I say a link - One year gurantee and as you say no updates. Hoping Ford was going to do someing offical.
  4. I am interested in finding out if (assuming its not over the top expensive) in updating my NAV system from MFT to the new Sync 3. I assume this will requre a hardware change. The question is will the new hardware fit my 2015 F350 Super Duty. Given that I am a tech nerd I like having the leatest hardware. Currently my trunk is confirmed with, scanner, ham radio and CB...
  5. Appears there is a LOT of miss information on how, when and how much coolant additive to add when and if the test strips report that you need to add additive My F350 has 49k miles and has passed each strip test. BUT when I asked my dealer they said the DO NOT test they just add the coolant additive. They sold me Specialty Orage Engine Coolant Revitalizer. #1 How much Revitalizer should you add when needed (have a 1 qt seems like that would be too much) #2 Given how important makeing sure your coolent is OK - is it advisable to just have the coolant flushed every 50k are so. #3 Quetion #2 goes to my concern have how reliable the test strips are NOTE: That love my F350 only issue I have had in 2 years is the driver side pull handle was lose - bolts stripped and I had to replace handle. Took it to the dealer to fix but the blow me off and I had to pay for parts out of pocket (this was before standard warantee was up)
  6. 1FT8W3DT3FEA45839 please update build date
  7. Dude not only heard of Google but work with them as engineer at eBay. I did not think to use dual in search for dolly Thanks
  8. Please recheck build date got email from dealyer saying not scheduled till mid June, but I was finally able to downlaod the Window Sticker on Friday THanks
  9. Thanks Will you be able to help with shipping schedule one the truck is built
  10. I normally jack the truck up just enough to clear the wheels Tires are heavy enough that #1 pulling the first wheel Ok, but second wheel drags on the studs since its hard to handle at ground level (that is to say standing I can lift the tire but not so easy at ground level) #2 Putting tire back on is the big issue getting it line up with the studs and lifting & truning is hard. Second tire more fun since you do not have extra bolt lenght as you do with first one I looking for a reasnable cost power tool to left / hold the tire so I can get the bolts lined up
  11. I was told that build date for my truck will be 5/5 VIN 1FT8W3DT3FEA45839 I have not yet been able to download a window sticker and have not otherwise been able to verify the build date More fun question is it possible to get pictures of the truck being built. I have never custom ordered a truck before and would be very cool to have few pictures of my truck being buillt GO FORD and thanks
  12. I was told my parts guy at my Ford dealyer that on the Disel better to change time to change oil etc my time the engine is running not by miles I tried to use the run timer in the center console of my 2008 SD but it resets unexpectly any thoughts to why
  13. #1 Like to see a side step so if the tail gate is not accessable then I can still get into the bed of the truck or reach something in the tool box #2 Factory optionto add better backup lights.. #3 Option to move the backup camarea to the rear of the cab to help when hocking up 5th weel
  14. Wondering how others deal with the dually tires there heavy and not easy to get off much less put back on by your self Must be tool that the shops use (if so what is it). And is there something for use home shop. I have power tools to remove the bolts and heavy duty jack and jack stands etc but nothing to lift the tires so can put them back on the truck
