Hello I'm no expert, but i ordered a 2015 FFH back in May 2014 and received it Sep 2, 2014. Tracked the status through these forums and from the date it got the VIN assigned to build date was 8 days (Jul 29/ Aug 6). The forums indicate it's almost clockwork with a grand average of 7 days between VIN/build dates. Shipping and delivery is another matter but mine was about 4 weeks (sat at the dealers for 4 days before they could prep/release it to me). Hope that helps. Enjoy your new car when it arrives.

Received and starting to enjoy the hybrid experience. For interests sake, the timing for my 2015 FFH was: Ordered 29 May, 2014 DORA 12 Jun Window sticker 29 Jul Build date 6 Aug Delivered 2 Sep The colour combo of Guard/ ceramic interior looks as good as I had hoped. Seeing it live instead of on the web is way better.

It appears this item is of little interest to the general forum population, For those that drop by, I can report I ended up buying the Sport Rack that fit my old Mazda 6 as well as my newly acquired (Sep 2, 2014 delivered) FFH. Same rack fits both. Less than $275 CDN all in. The rack fits OK and supports the canoe easily. With front, back and lateral tie-downs it doesn't move an inch. I have been out 3 times on trips of up to 400 km return, using mostly highway up to 115 km/hr and no problems. So far no marks or scratches of the paint by the clamping feet. It does have square, plastic coated bars, so there is a definite wind noise, but nothing extreme. Problem solved, for now.

Just a newbie question. Probably too simplistic. I really like the approach of replacing, where practical (I.e. not having to re/re a whole bumper!) The lights of the FFH so they are LED. And this thread is a gold mime of information. But why wouldn't Ford have done EVERYTHING as LED in the first place? On a car where battery power is a main source of power.

I was curious if anyone in the forums has added a roofrack to the Fusion Hybrid? I did a search for "roof rack" but found nothing. I know there is a Thule or Yakima product available, but would appreciate any insights on actual experience. I am looking at carrying my canoe (17 foot, 80 pounds max). Thanks.

Thanks for the insight I notice on the DORA that the order was ”District Submitted” So using your info, it seems they are as anxious as I for the delivery Now to see if this translates into an early delivery I read in the forums that it takes more than just priority to win the scheduling game

Hello I have no idea It wasn't till after I purchased the car and then found these forums, that I discovered info about DORA, priority, etc. So I didn't actively campaign for any priority I have asked for an updated DORA to see if the car has any status change.

I have a 2015 FFH on order DORA processed Jun 2/14 but no scheduled date or VIN at that time I'm in Canada and my dealer ID number (B1 280) on the DORA bears no resemblance to the format I see listed in other parts of these forums. Are the numbers different up here? Or am I looking at a "dummy" ID number? There is no number on the DORA that resembles the "2 numbers letter 3 numbers" format. The priority of the order is indicated as "05", which I hope means fairly good, again based on other posts around the forums. So I might see my vehicle by Thanksgiving (CAN or US). LOL. I have read that the Hermosillo plant doesn't start up 2015 production till Jul 21/14. Thanks for any insights or directions to other posting areas.

I just ordered a FFH Titanium with most toys. Guard metallic with ceramic interior. Received a copy of the DORA says it was processed Jun 2/14; priority 05 No scheduled date or VIN at that time Now for the long wait. Looking forward to it. Been through most of this forum Looks like some good info and how to's I am particularly interested in the LED light upgrades and spare tire install info I have read. Thanks for those.
