Purchasing a continental black label coach (stretch). Dealer original said vehicle was 82k MSRP. Being told the vehicle final price will be plus $30k because they had to stretch the vehicle. Also being told only 800 are being made, but thought in 2020 more are being made. This is the suicide door model. Any help would be appreciated.

No heads up display like the Navigator has?

Will the 2020 Expedition have heads up display? Does anybody know what changes can be expected?

Have a 2008 Expedition EL. When the car is starting to move it sounds like there is water on the AC side of the car under the hood. It sounds like "swishing". It does not seem to affect anything and has been like this for quite some time. Any ideas on what it could be? It is most noticeable when are going from a stop because I think the motion of the vehicle is what causes it to move.

Has there been any better indication with regard to dates of when the 2018 redesign will hit showrooms? I have read Christmas 2016, summer 2017 and am wondering if anybody has some insider knowledge?

Want to order a 2016 EL but amwondering if there is an easy way of seeing if there is already one in production with the options I want? Also is the 3.73 rear end really necessary?

We have a 2008 and havent had any paint issues. Hoping they don't change the rear suspension compromising the leg room in the third row. That is the reason we didn't purchase the Tahoe. I think it makes sense it will be the F150 platform but aren't the other earlier models also that platform?

May be my only option, not wanting to purchase a new 60k expy just to ditch it after a couple years. Hoping we can get our hands on a redesigned by summer 2017.

Ajvolpe- did you have an expedition before? Curious of if you thin the differences where big betwee the earlier model and the new one.

I think the 2 year lease may be the way to go.

You said "we" does that mean you work for Ford and have first hand knowledge, therefore re.atively "reliable" in terms of timeframe. If that is the case you said new paint and body shops by end of the year, does that mean I could expect to purchase on before end of 2016 or early 2017? Just hate to purchase a 2015 and the have re-design come out soon after. Any more insight would be appreciated.

Having owned Fords (explorer through expedition) from 1992 until now it is really frustrating having being faced with an alternative other than Ford to replace our 2008 Expedition EL. Purchasing a 2015 in my opinion is too close to the 2008 we currently have and is therefore "behind the times" with the current offerings by Fords competition. Is there any hard "real" idea of when a completely redesigned Expedition will be available for purchase?
