  1. Would this include the '22 Mach 1?? Thank you!
  2. If I missed it, sorry. But, the price for the Hand. Pack. was announced today. $3,500.
  3. Ford just sent me a build update. My Mustang will now be built on....Job 1 date of Jan. 4th. NOT the week of...but, actually on Jan. 4th. So, we're thinking that the arrival date will be sooner than the Apr. time frame I had earlier predicted. This also is to let folks know that they are starting 2021 Model builds on Jan. 4th as announced earlier as Job 1.
  4. Just a good piece of info for some, I hope. The new Ford Order/Tracking System seems to be working pretty well....so far. When my '21 GT Prem, 401A, auto, PP1 car was ordered on Nov. 3rd, Ford sent me an email, same day, acknowledging that it was now in "their system" and they will email during the process. Today....I got my 2nd email from Ford stating that my car will be built the week of Jan. 18th! Wow....that's great feedback so far. The old COTUS system wasn't this good...for sure. Now the guessing game....how long waiting at factory after build, to get out on to the rails, and then railroads getting it moving on to it's destination. My next email from Ford will be that "it's built." I believe the VIN will come either to me or my dealer before I get that email. My dealer rec'd their next to last GT500, a Carbon Pack. car...MSRP $97,xxx....plus a $10K ADM. Lower than most dealers....LOL! They have 1 more on the way and that's their last. They rec'd their last green Bullitt about a week ago. Still sitting there looking shiny and pretty! LOL! So is the GT500!! $107K....Whew! Kona blue, black stripes. Wish they still had kept Kona for '21. I'd have ordered that and then put the over the top GT500 "style" white stripes on it. Mine will be Oxford White...I'll add blue over the top stripes at some point in the Spring My "guess" is my car should arrive approx. the 2nd week of April. But, we'll see.
  5. I'm sure icecapades will post as soon as Ford releases. I know this. My dealer has (2) 2020 GT500's on the rails to them. Last 2. And their last Bullitt arrived this past Sat, that will sell for below MSRP, as they are across the country right now. The black ones are being discounted even more than the green. Anyway...just some extra "stuff."
  6. Here to learn and help those that are decent and respectful.

A.F. retired and Vietnam vet.  Currently own my 11th Mustang.

  7. I thought as much. Thanks anyway. My dealer will send it to me. I always ask for the Invoice too. And get it.
  8. PP2 dropping is on Page 1 on the 2021 Product/Oder Guide. Also, interesting the PP1 went up $1,000 over 2020, but, that was offset by Safe and Smart is no longer a $1K option, it is included in the 401A Package. Most other check off items are the same. The Base GT Prem. is up a little. I built a GT Prem, 401A, auto, PP1 with all options...including the nickel luster wheels I like....came to: $56,995. Mag ride, 6P Brembos, etc, 3.55 Torsen rear, same as auto trans Mach 1. This is a nice Mustang that has great features, some that are on the Mach 1, for those that aren't tracking the car....save a ton of $$. Besides MSRP being a lot less, the dealer will discount this car a bunch. I'm figuring I can save approx. $6K over the Mach 1 I built. Something to think about for those not needing a track car. And, it's not hard to up your 460 hp to 480 with simple bolt ons.
  9. I guess I should have known, but, I forgot that the Bullitt had it, and then I would have asked about the Mach. But, that puts my build, a loaded base to $60,390. I can afford it, but, I can get a GT Prem, 401A, PP1, auto, with all options for almost $4K less AND I know my dealer will give me a deal at just over Invoice, so, that's just something that might make more sense. Plus I've got options on the interior color, those optional PP wheels I've always liked, etc, etc. Sometimes thinking about that build, that I already did to compare to the Mach, just starts to make some sense, and save a few thousand $$. Room then to do full body dual stripes, and whatever else. Opens up possibilities. OR....keep my '19 GT Prem, 401A, Cal Spec, that is still basically new with 1,200 miles! Decisions, decisions.
  10. Are you able to post or provide a link to the Price List?
  11. NO....The Mustang Price List was just released. The Tax was on it. The Price List was not out yesterday. My dealer couldn't find it, but, he could build a car and get prices, BUT, it didn't show the Tax. The Bullitt had the tax so, I guess it's true...and......I'm outa here. Done, I'll find another "something."
  12. Ice-capades just said there is a $1,000 Gas Guzzler Tax, that showed up on the Mustang Price LIst...just out. That's it for me. I'm done. My build w/o HP is now at $60,390. Not worth it any more to me.
  13. So, definitely, the Mach 1 will have that also?? If so, I'm out. Done.
  14. What...seriously...$1K Gas Guzzler?? The Bullitt didn't have that, or did it?
  15. Yeah, you might be right on that for a HP car without Navi. Yes, the base Mach has most of the basics that the HP car has. I just need the auto trans. Ins. I don't worry too much about. I'm older, no wrecks, no tickets, and super low miles driven...so my discounts are many! LOL! Multi auto discount, and home insured same company also helps. Sometimes I hesitate on "should I do it?" It's not the $$, I just have a really nice '19 GT Prem, Cal. Spec. with some great mods with just under 1,200 miles. It could sit in the showroom. Knowing my GM he would put it there. He has with other cool 'Stangs that were like new. But, I've done this before. Just like cars too much!! Fell in love with the all new Acura MDX that will come out soon. Acura showed it today. I have a '19 MDX. This all new one blows mine away...and mine is great. But, I'm going to get the new one! Wife loves it too. So, looks like 2 new cars by the Spring...or before. Mach should be in around March time frame I'm guessing. IF they get started building on Jan. 4th as they have said earlier.
  16. I'm holding in my hand the very same, almost, Order Summary for the Mach I built. $51,720 is what I have plus the Delivery equals: $52915. I was off when I wrote earlier $52,195. Had the right last 3 digits..just in the wrong order! LOL! My build with all options came to: $59,390. Take off the auto trans saves you $1595. But, I like the 10 spd. FJG w/App. Pkg is $1K. It's just I thought a few days ago it might come out to around $55K approx. I think we all did.
  17. So, I've done the pricing of the base Mach and all the options. I priced mine out with my Inv. Mgr. and it came to...gulp! $59,390 to include Delivery. More than I thought going back to the early days of "wondering!" This is an automatic, with every option, including an optional "Y spoke wheel" that I didn't know about for $395. Looks much better than the ugly stock wheel. The App. Pkg....FJG with the orange trim we've all seen is $1,000. So, what this tells me, for those that want the Hand. Pkg car.....with all goodies...you will def. go past $60K. wow. Just for comparison I had him price out a: GT Prem, 401A, auto, PP1 with all options and it comes to approx. $56,400. I say that since the B&O audio system didn't come up for some reason. So, about $3K more for the Mach, base with ALL options. And, since it comes with summer tires I'll need to put my Mich. Pilot Sport A/S 3+'s on like I have on my '19 GT. More cost there, so I'd be over $60K with the tires. I think my GM will buy the tires off the Mach, so that will help off set the tire costs. He's done that before. Just more than I expected for a base car...even though it's fully loaded with all avail options.
  18. Yes, thank you. I had it first thing. Base price is: $52,195 to include delivery. But, I've seen another # close. This one the media outlets, incl. The Detroit Free Press has this. More than I expected. The Hand. Package is NOT priced yet.
  19. Nice. I buy a lot of new cars, and have est. great relations with GM's. They all learn my likes, wants, dislikes, etc. They never install lic. plate brackets without asking me first. They know not to install anything unless asking me first and IF I want it or not. No dealer adv. other than what's on their lic. plate frames...which I don't mind keeping on until I get my reg. then install my plates with my special plate frames from Weather Tech. I am kinda stunned at your one dealer asking that much over!! They are crazy...beyond crazy. That's 1/2 to more than 1/2 of the MSRP. I hate dealers that do that. And, people are really nuts to pay it....unless, I guess they are so rich that they don't care. I won't even pay $100 over MSRP! So far I've never paid MSRP for any vehicle. Even when the first Cobra Mustang in the new body, 1994 came out....in So. Cal. dealers wanted MSRP, and I wouldn't pay it. Too many dealers to shop around for a deal you can get. I paid $500 under for that one, and had dealers calling me later trying to sell me the same car they wouldn't sell below MSRP earlier in the day. But, again, so many dealers close to each other it was fun and easy to price shop. But, where I'm at now....the way to get "deals" is to be a frequent buyer and establish a relationship with a dealer you like. I buy new Acuras at least every 2 yrs.....that GM and other Mgrs know me well, and it's just so easy now to buy from them. I do it via phone, email and drive there to pick it up. No mess, no fuss. My wife and I get treated very well there. Same at my Ford dealer. I haven't approached my GM with the possibility of paying under MSRP some....LOL!.....but, I know the most I'll have to pay is MSRP. Would be my first time. Ouch!! LOL!! And, any accessories I want I always get 20% off and other favors if I ask. I still have to figure out what wheels I want, since I don't like the base car wheels. I do like the HP wheels, but, buying them over the Parts counter would cost a mint. I know...I've tried that before! I don't like them that much!! Let me know how it goes tomorrow for you. Take care!
  20. Very cool. Well, no, even now dealers do not know their allocations. That will come after dealers put in their requests. But, you going in so early...lucky to find a dealer that would let you do that.....and I'm #1 on my dealer's list for one, we have no problem with me getting the one I order. Interesting side note. I was talking to my Inv. Mgr. today, and he said that Ford "threw another GT500 at them" they never ordered. They already have "an extra on the way"....and now another one. Reason....500's are backing up...sales are slowing, I think due to dealers marking them up so high. They are also the Regions #1 seller of Mustangs based on the % of Mustangs sold vs their total veh. sales. And they are now a recent Roush Auth. dealer. No cars yet. They also have the last of the Bullitt's on the way. They'll have to sell it below MSRP for sure, and they know that. Had to on their previous Bullitt sold. Interest faded this year. I don't understand, yet, about the issue with ordering a "Hand. Pkg" car. Word is can't do that yet. ???? Maybe we'll know more about that tomorrow. I'm ordering a base in FJG with App. Pkg. and auto trans. I will load it up and change the wheels/tires to my liking.
  21. JoeG76...thank you. Will you be ordering one? Just curious. I can't wait to see the Guide. Cars are my passion and it's fun every time a new model is coming out.
  22. Your case? LOL! Didn't know you were an attorney. Take care. AND IF you want to know when the Mach 1 can be odered, just read my post on here. I rest MY case!
  23. I'll give you one better. Tomorrow, Wed. Oct. 14th the Order Guides WILL BE OPEN to order Mach 1's. Take that to the bank. I have a source at Ford, that asked me to keep it between us.....but, it is for real. He knows I'm ordering a Mach 1 and that I've owned 11 Mustangs, and many other vehicles. He also had me lined up with an interview with the Detroit Free Press to be asked about my excitement to be ordering a new Mach 1. I wasn't able to bet back quick enough today, and the reporter had to pick another person that he had given the reporter as people you'd want to talk to. Anyway....tomorrow I'll have the PDF file printed out, sitting at home and putting my Mach 1 together, and when it's all done and "for sure" I will turn it over to my Inv. Mgr. to order and get it in to the system. Also, the Mach 1 WILL be sold overseas unlike the Bullitt....so that tells us that there will be many more Mach's built than the Bullitt. It has to "replace" essentially 3 Mustangs. The "gap" between the Mustang GT....and the Shelby GT500 leaves 3 models gone for '21.....2 versions of the 350 and the Bullitt. So, the Mach 1 has to be a "go to" car for many Mustang enthusiasts who want more than a GT....like me...but, now the GT500 is too costly with the damn dealer mark ups. AND, I think those mark ups will be coming down...since the inventory of 500's is backing up. Sales have slowed down. Duh...ya think?......with dealer pricing at $100K and up, they are way too much for most of us.
  24. Read my msg I just wrote. I messed up by not inserting yours to my latest.
  25. Hi guys. Well, I know you've been doing this for a long time. But, you never know in this world who is "connected" to info. that you are NOT. I cannot tell you my source...sworn to secrecy...and I'm being honest, on my Mother's grave. TOMORROW you will get the O.G. for the Mach 1. I hope you bet me....AND apologize ice-capades for giving a thumbs up to your fellow Moderator on disparaging and name calling of me, a member on here YOU would not allow the same kind of "talk" happen. YOU know I'm right. I will be waiting for your POSITIVE msgs to me tomorrow. Take care!
