  1. Ok playing into that, pulled the old battery out and it had a date of 11/15 on it and took a charge all the way back up to full. So between that and the battery being 6 months old I don't believe it's the battery. Still need to get it load tested which I'll do tomorrow. Checked the resistance from the hot side of the alternator and the positive side of the battery and got 3 ohms which is quite high.
  2. So I called a few Ford dealers to price out the reset and when I called the last one the service tech manager said the reset isn't needed especially if the battery is t really having drastic problems like cranking. So I guess I'll just swap and see. The other dealers did sound like they were pulling their pricing out of mid-air
  3. Gunna revive an old thread, This your friendly reminder to change your cabin filter. My car has 45k miles and this is what the filter looked like when I pulled it out today. It's super easy if you watch the tutorials on youtube a time or two before. I found a, I believe it was, 9/16 socket to work the best for the screws. All in all it took me 20 minutes start to finish. Just take your time.
  4. Thanks! Appreciate the help!!
  5. Hey everyone, just picked up a 2013 2.0 FFT so I'm brand new here. I'm wondering what's the correct battery size for my car? The car has a 90/T5 but the manual calls for a 96r. Now after some research I believe I read that ford confirmed they messed up in the manual even though they are practically identical in all areas other than size and 5 cranking amps. Reason I ask is because sometimes I'll go into energy saving mode around a minute after turning off the engine and well I suspect the battery is just on its way out, I've yet to load test it though. Thanks
