Ouch! Peeling Fusion doorhandle cuts me deep.

I have an '09 Edge and this just happened to me yesterday. Middle finger, about cut the pad of my finger off. It seems to have split at the top and started peeling down the back so I didn't see it. Sliced the ultimate paper cut, ouch is right!! Wonder if they ever decided to replace these.

Door handle sliced the pad of my finger

Out of nowhere, the chrome on the door handle split on the top and pealed a little bit down the back side. Unnoticed by me, until it about cut the pad of my middle finger off completely. Talk about the ultimate paper cut. It's an '09 Edge. Is there a recall of some sort on these?
