Lexus Mach E? The silhouette and some styling cues are from the Mustang ....
That grille is horrible. No matter is solid, the Lexus grille is horrible.

The front is a good implementation of the split headlight thing. The front looks good, the back is meh.
The interior is nice, if not busy with that weird reddish brown color.
For Chineses, the red is a good color. Is a lucky one... I hate that interior but the horizontal screen that looks stolen from my Mercedes-Benz A-180...

Well maybe Ford needs the 6.8 V8 to compete with the new grand Wagoneer which has a 6.4 liter Hemi. It would not take much for GM to up the anti on a future gmc Delani to offer a light duty version of the 6.6 V8. The Jeep 6.4 is at 471 hp with a cast iron block!
ICE vehicles will be dead by 2030. The V8s are dead right now (only used in Mustang and some trucks). A new V8 for the big SUVs is a waste of money. The current V6 Ecoboost is the right choice, and the hybrid can fight every other engine from Stellantis .

I said 1 year ago that the Mustang will be a sub-brand. And that sub-brand is taking shape: the coupe, the convertible, the Mach E and , soon , a 4 door coupe. A bigger or smaller crossover is possible, too.

With that money you can buy a base Bronco and a mid level Bronco Sport.

This new model deserves some changes on the exterior. What about a two tone paint, with the roof in black or white (depending of the main body color) ? The grille could be different, too. The same shape but distinctive patter.
The bean counters at Ford are working hard...

For MY23, Mustang gets hybrid. For MY28, it gets a BEV version.
For model year 2028 the unique version of the Mustang will be BEV. The ICE Mustang will be dead by then, as every other passenger car in the Ford line up.

I’m not sure the BEVs are for all customers yet. I’m not sure all customers will want BEVs in 2030. The electric infrastructures are not well developed yet in Europe. And about the rest of the world, I think the situation is not better... But we have nine years ahead.

I hope that Ford can change the proportions of his vehicle. The cab forward design of the VW ID3 is very ugly, completely different from the design of the Mustang Mach E, with its long bonnet.

The Celestiq is a good effort to show what Cadillac can do. Lincoln need a halo vehicle like the Celestíq . A big, sleek and ultra luxury electric crossover at the top of the line. A new Continental?

Cars are dead and ICE too, soon. So, the next Thunderbird will be an electric crossover. Maybe a sleek 4 door coupe crossover in the upper side of the Ford line up. Will be the “personal luxury coupe” of the future.

The top-of-the-line Ford Motor Company vehicle is a very good one. The best big luxury SUV.
Congrats for your purchase

Every car need one design element that capture attention in one way or another. Generally, those design elements are controversial, some may look strange, but it is the elements that give character to the car, that make it recognizable and that put people to talk about it. For example, the strange roof of the 1986 Cougar, the rear end of the 1980 Cadillac Seville, or the black D pillar of the last Jaguar XJ ... This strange C-pillar is the characteristic element of the Bronco Sport ... people will talk about it and it will be its distinctive.

Is not so retro...looks with a modern design, with small retro feeling... Nice.

Well... we need to wait. The Porsche Taycan is not as good as Porsche promissed... the range is bad. The EQ vehicles from Mercedes-Benz dont convince too much. Maybe the germans are not so good in the EV production area...
-
Looks like GM is in a good position to compete in the EV market as soon as the people want to buy those EVs... And the Cadillac propositions are promising.

The auto trends are ciclic. The new trend of high ride vehicles (crossovers/SUVs) is not new. Here some pics of the 1937/38 Fords, as high as a 2020 Explorer, with no trunks... in other words, a SUV/crossover of today... In 10 or 20 years, the low ride, long and wide vehicles, like in the late 60s could be the trend , again...

The Explorer nightmare continues.... This car needs a redone....ASAP. The interior is a mess in its design and materials/quality, and must be completly redone. The exterior needs a new grille, more in line with others Ford models (new Escape/Kuga, european Puma...). And the Chicago plant, where this car is assembled, needs a big shake out... with new managers and an strict quality protocol.
The completly new and modern RWD Explorer cant take on the old Honda Pilot... this is a big failure, a great mistake from Ford.

Then there is this speculation on Autoblog, the return of the short bed F150 Raptor
https://www.autoblog.com/2020/02/24/ford-bronco-raptor-mule-spied/
Autoblog say that is not a short bed Raptor, they think is a big BOF SUV with Raptor caracteristics. A Bronco Max based on the Expedition? An Expedition Raptor? This is very interesting!

One publication say the powertrain in the new Bronco will be the 2.7 V6 with 10 sp auto. 350 HP?

In the Grand scheme of things that is what its going to get called, I wouldn't be the least bit suprised to see the Mustang name get dropped at some point in time, like 5-10 years from now.
In 10 years what will not exist will be the current RWD ICE V8 powered Mustang in a low ride coupe form...
