One thing I would consider is that as of the 2025 Aviator the Plug In Hybrid is discontinued. So there is no longer any Aviator Hybrid. Without a growing population of Lincoln PEV‘s I wouldn’t expect number and experience level of supporting people, equipment and parts to be expanding - probably will contract.

I have been doing some internet research about CVT transmissions .... very interesting stuff in general but I have not been able to find anything on which type of CVT Lincoln is using in the 2024 Nautilus Hybrid drive trane .. anyone out here have some specifics?
…And, will it have a 12vdc system as well as the high voltage circuit or will it all work off the high voltage battery system?
and what will the maintenance and warranty coverage be on the hybrid system?

fuses are located in multiple places … I suggest you become familiar with the Owners Manual which contains that sort of information.

LHB - The sales manager stated he passed the vehicle issues to his service team and service should be in touch soon with options to resolve the issues. My main concern is that dealer is 3 hrs away. There is a closer local Lincoln dealer I may contact.
Also - Since my original post, my D/S multi-contour seat stopped working. That issue is more pressing for me. Have any of you see one seat stop working? If so are there any steps I can take to try to reset the seat?
Personally I would not be dealing with a dealer 3 hours (one way?) away for a new car with a 4 year factory warranty … I would probably establish a relationship with a closer Lincoln dealership to service my Navigator.
My 2018 Black Label ( first year for the current model ) spent many days over several trips replacing one of the headlight assemblies multiple times before they figured out that the headlight assembly with it’s computer was not the issue but a headlight control module (computer) elsewhere on the network. My dealer is about 20 miles plus the Black Label includes free valet pickup and delivery with loaner during warrenty period made the situation very tolerable. During the first couple of months I also had them address misalignment of side panel on console and fastener/alignment of one of the wheel well shields.I have had new cars with very few issues but the more complex the vehicle and if it’s first year for ‘all’ new version I expect more issues. Today all vehicles are all a rolling local network of dozens of computers creating, in many cases, misleading symptoms which can cause several trips to the dealership to resolve.
You said your seat stopped working. You may want to check it’s fuse (would be quick easy fix if that is the problem and a new fuse doesn’t blow too)
These are my thoughts & comments, but not knowing your specific situation, location etc thy be completely or partly off point.
I’m sure once you resolve your current issues you are going to really enjoy your new ride.

Agreed.
I spoke with dealer: the manager said the two most recent 22s on the lot have the same roof as I do but the 21 has five full length ridges. His guess was an engineering change of some sort for the partial P/S ridge.
When you spoke with your dealer did you address your other issues?

I would not hesitate to bring all my concerns and questions to my Lincoln dealer service representative attention. When I buy a new vehicle I nearly always make a list and get with my dealer service rep with it within a very few weeks to get it resolved.

Was it mentioned somewhere on this forum that window stickers outlined in green are custom orders from customers, not dealer stock? I just checked Fair Oaks, where I ordered my 2022 from, and they have at least one Nav with a window sticker that is outlined in green. Seems odd they would post that.
I believe that if someone orders (thereby a green window sticker) then decides not to complete the purchase the dealer will have that (green sticker) in inventory for sale.

Hi guys. Along with a pictogram, the 2021 Lincoln Navigator Owners Manual states:
"Press the Auto-Start-Stop button located on
the center console to switch the system off.
The button illuminates. This only deactivates
the system for the current ignition cycle.
Press the button again to restore
Auto-Start-Stop function."Along with a pictogram, the 2021 Aviator, Corsair and Nautilus Owner Manuals state:
"Press the button on the instrument panel to
access the Auto-Start-Stop feature on the
touchscreen. Use the touchscreen to
deactivate the feature. Deactivating the
feature lasts only 1 key cycle. Use the
touchscreen to restore Auto-Start-Stop
function."I am not going to check everyone's Owners Manual for every model year. ?
Just check the Index for "Auto-Start-Stop" for the correct pages in your particular Owners Manual copy.
However, for Lincoln vehicles...At worst it is a two button push (one on dash, one on SYNC screen). And in some cases, a one button push (on the center console).
Or try the seemingly permanent button pushing workaround mentioned previously...or purchase the OBDII port Auto-Start-Stop disabler.
Good luck.
Lincoln OWNERS MANUALS are a starting point for researching functionality BUT may not be correct … for example the 2018 Navigator Owners Manual (3rd printing) describes the Auto Hold console button functionality on startup as retaining its setting as it was on last shutdown … that functionality is only on 2019 and later.

I think 2018 new models was first … I know it works on my 2018 Navigator but did not on my 2015 F150 (which as I recall, was first with adaptive cruise control but dropped out somewhere under ~20mph).

It makes sense if you’re creeping along in stop and go traffic so you don’t have to keep your foot on the brake all the time. The adaptive cruise control can be quite helpful for these situations also.

So, is 2022 ordering still mid Oct 2021 and production start mid Jan 2022?

I would only consider Fords ESP (extended service plan). Shop on line … there a few Ford dealers that will sell on-line at very discounted prices and I have found when negotiating on a new Ford/ Lincoln your dealer will match or beat the price on your deal.
I have done this on a 2015 F150 and on a 2018 Navigator Black Label (both were new). Somewhat pricy but if you check out cost of parts and repairs on these new hi-tech rolling computer networks many single failure possibilities could exceed the ESP cost.….. and should you sell or trade before expiration, it can be transferred to new owner or you can get a rebate on the unused portion.

Like most Ford fixed steps/running boards, it looks to me that they are very tight to the rocker panel requiring dexterity to safely use them for entry and exit. Even using the running board to enter/exit, you'd probably want to use a grab handle too. The handle above the door is semi-awkward to use. If I were asked, I would have placed the grab handle on the A-pillar.
Using a front seat passenger for illustration; it is far easier to grasp a grab bar on the A-pillar with your right hand and lift up your butt over the seat edge than it is to reach above the center of the door opening where, regardless of which hand you use, your arm has to twist oddly. More or less the same on exit...unless you just slide off the seat edge
I agree, a handle on windshield pillar is much more useable than over the door … the Navigator’s are very well placed. -

At lest on my 2018, you can turn off the corrective steering force and just set it to vibrate for lane departure. That is what I do. Also, if you turn on your blinker, the lane departure feature should not be doing anything. That sounds like something is wrong.
Also should note that the little button on the end if the Turn/Lane Change signal lever turns the Lane Departure system off/on.

It's probably just me then, I'm the Luddite I guess. I don't even like using lane keep assist, I find it to be way too intrusive, especially when entering and exiting the freeway.
I find that when the Lane Departure / Lane Keeping is ‘intruding’ on me it is telling me I’m about to cross into an adjacent lane unintentionally or without proper lane-change signal. I’m ok with the alert/reminder it provides.

“Grand Wagoneer Series III MSRP* Starting at $103,995” certainly puts it smack into Navigator Black Label territory ... looks interesting on internet and I expect it will be interesting to see in person this summer - but I am skeptical that it will measure up.

It sucks that Aviator is still having these problems, but the dealer may not be lying. If they test it and the problem doesn't occur then they can't be sure what to fix. Are you able to demonstrate the problem for them? Have you tried leaving it with them for a few days? Give the concierge a try. If none of that works by all means check into lemon law.
This is where I believe Lincoln should have a buyback policy. If you're not happy in the first 6 months or have unsolved problems within the first year, they should buy it back no questions asked with a discount on a new Lincoln. That would go so far with customer satisfaction and it wouldn't cost a lot because the vehicle could be repaired if necessary and resold.
My perception is that if a problem can not be demonstrated/repeated for/by the dealer and there are no error codes that the dealer is very limited on what they are allowed to do.
My experience with steering wheel memory setting not holding was such a case. After I sent a letter to Lincoln HQ a Lincoln rep got involved and apparently authorized the dealer to replace the BCM which seems to fix the issue. -

I just had the same thing happen last night going down a hill. Every light on the dash on total failure. For me I did not have brakes !...pushing pedal with all my might at 40 mpg......no brakes. Pedal hard as a rock. I used the paddles to downshift enough to slow the car. Frightening experience. This car is a POS. My problems with it are too long to list here but it is on its 2nd engine! Afraid to drive it.
are you aware ... (from owners manual)?
Applying the Electric Parking Brake in an Emergency
Note: Do not apply the electric parking brake when your vehicle is moving, except in an emergency. If you repeatedly use the electric parking brake to slow or stop your vehicle, you could cause damage to the brake system.
You can use the electric parking brake to slow or stop your vehicle in an emergency. -
If the button adjusts all the settings as they should then the settings apparently are not being lost.
Do you have your FOBs set to profiles and the program buttons also set to the profiles?

Perhaps the camera image data is streamed over the vehicle LAN in which case it may be some non camera related module saturating the LANs bandwidth at times ... in which case I hope there are some error codes being generated for the dealer to find.

I have an issue with my 2021 Lincoln Aviator backup camera, it occasionally flickers (glitches) when in reverse. Lincoln has already replaced it once. Anyone else experience this? Video enclosed. Drives me crazy!
Kind-a looks like connection or vibration issue. Does it occur if not moving or seem associated with a bump/shock/vibration?

My 2018 Navigator Black Label went through a battery every two years … my dealer replaced it each time under warranty. (I now have a 2024 Nautilus Black Label Hybrid).
